After a year and 9 months, my case has finally come to an end. I will try to keep this review short but I’ve got lots to say – good and bad. In October 2020, I got rear-ended at a red light. The following day I spoke with Scott Keller. Before my accident, I never worked with an attorney so this experience was new to me. There were many tears shed and a lot of anger – with the other driver, the situation and Scott Keller. I truthfully did not like how he handled my case for the first year and 7-8 months. I spoke to him on the phone maybe 4-5 times (he did 99% of the talking) in the entire 21 months, I have never met him in person (not once), and I don’t know if it was his fault or the front desk person’s fault but he never got back to me when I’d leave a message. NEVER. I had a few “scheduled” calls with him but I never got a call when the time came. I spoke to the paralegal more than I spoke to Scott. Every time I called to speak with Scott I either talked to the paralegal or another attorney or was told that he’ll get back to me when he got the chance (NEVER DID), to leave a message. He was always, always, ALWAYS busy with something – on a phone call, in a meeting, left the office, at a doctor’s appointment, the list goes on. I would always “just miss him” whenever I called. Then about 18 months in, I get a call from Scott saying he’s going to get the help of another attorney (David Lores) to work on my case with him. In less than about 3 months, I get a call from David saying we finally got the number we wanted. This whole situation was so stressful that I cried after getting that news. David was nice and I truly believe he really helped get my case closed. I feel like that’s the best thing that Scott did (getting David to help). My fiancé was in an accident in March 2021 and his attorney called and/or messaged him weekly, always gave him updates on his case and more – I wish I got that from Scott. However, I was pleased with the paralegal, Roger, he was super helpful and nice. I was pleased with David as well (actually met him in person). And the front desk people were overall friendly. Due to my personal experience with Scott, I would never go to him ever again or recommend him to anyone. I never want to go through this experience ever again.
