Ami came recommended by a friend and it was the MOST productive one hour consultation possible. She is an attorney with a heart. She heard our issues and laid out the best possible plan in plain English for us to succeed with our pro se case. I would definitely recommend her!

Going through a divorce for the 1st and hopefully only time in my life was by far the most stressful, emotional, confusing, frustrating and scary time of my life. I picked Ami as my attorney after reading the reviews others wrote about her and I am so thankful that I did. If you want someone to sugarcoat things for you and let you do whatever you want in your fits of anger and frustration than this would not be the attorney for you. Ami will tell you exactly how it is and also talk to you in a way that will reground you to the reality of the situation. There were MANY times I was ready to start filing motions and she kept reassuring me that mediation was the best course of action for my case...I have to admit I was doubtful based on how my spouse was acting and the things he was saying to me. She even had a heart to heart girl talk with me one day about not letting my current situation over take my days and life..as it was. I am happy to say that a month and a half after filing we did in fact settle in mediation and 2 mnths from the day I filed he has now officially moved out of my home. If you want someone who works for you quickly and efficiently and is honestly doing what is best for you, then trust me, Ami is the best ally to have on your side. I was amazed how quickly everything happened even though at the time i was so anxious that it seemed it would never be over. I have nothing but positive things to say about Ami, her staff, and her ability to help guide you through such a difficult situation. I am beyond grateful to her for not letting my anxiety get the best of me and prolonging this experience anymore than it had to be. She is encouraging, knowledgeable, straight forward, truthful and ready to fight for you when you need it. The day he moved out she said she wanted a picture of the new house keys to my house after I changed the locks and I kept my promise...to have her cheering me on and truly happy for me is a great feeling. Ami was not just my attorney through the last few months, she was my friend...friends tell you how it is but are also there to listen and help guide you through the trials of life. I learned a lot about myself and a lot of valuable lessons because of her honesty and heart through all of this. I started using Ami after having a horrible experience from a previous attorney. Ami appeared to be a little abrasive in the beginning BUT, there was a reason behind it. I am a talker and long winded. Although I did not think that she was hearing me, or understanding my situation, what she was doing was actually preparing me for trial. She taught me how to answer questions as they were asked and not to ramble on about irrelevant thoughts or points I was trying to make. DON'T get me wrong, she is nice and friendly, and good to work with, but she has some sharp edges. BUT, don't let that phase you, she used those sharp edges in court to defend me. The opposing attorney questioned me for hours. The entire time, Ami was attentive, objected when the questions were asked multiple times, objected when the opposing attorney was more or less harassing me, and she was very well prepared. The questions that Ami asked in court, made me realize that she WAS listening to me, she had heard me, and she worked her butt off to prepare for my case and to WIN my case. I can't really explain the full details of court, but wow!! I left the court room knowing I made the right decision in hiring her. She did more than I expected and her thought process and how she responded to things was very impressive. I WOULD definitely hire and use her again and I would most certainly recommend her to my friends if needed.

To all men and women who read my review and comments about attorney Ami l. Dilorenzo: my experience with Ami Dilorenzo began on July 20, 2015. on this day i signed a contract with Ami l. Dilorenzo p.a. after a brief conversation about my divorce. as soon as we finished our conversation, Ami gave me immediately an appointment. i felt very comfortable with her immediately because she assured me right away that she would give me her best legal representation. Ami, gave me a very reasonable fee for my case which had two parts. Her office is located in the historic section of Ocala. upon entering her law office, i was greeted by one of her paralegal named Kelly. i was very impressed with her office since every room that i could look into were very organized, clean and inviting. Kelly is a very skilled person who pays close attention to details, always kept a professional attitude and always provided me with any information that i needed during the entire divorce. As i already mentioned there were two parts to my divorce which Ami was very thorough by explaining to me that she must first take care of a domestic violence injunction from the respondent wife before the filing of any divorce proceedings. Ami's knowledge of domestic violence laws was able to successfully prove my innocence to the judge and therefore the order was dismissed for insufficient evidence. after this hearing Ami began and initiated the proceedings for the dissolution of marriage of my divorce with very tactical professional language. i was always provided with copies of motions, documents of productions, and hearing dates on time. Ami always returned my phone calls in a timely manner and answered my emails the same way. On my initial consultation she had explained to me that divorces can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Ami and her staff were able to complete my divorce in exactly 8 months including the dismissal of a domestic violence injunction. i am very happy with my final judgement order and i feel protected from it. I am so glad that I went to attorney Amy Dilorenzo to handle which to me was to me a complicated divorce case. There were many sensitive issues and details that concerned me, but Ms. Dilorenzo explained all the matters carefully to me and worked swiftly to resolve my case to my complete satisfaction. She, and her staff are total professionals and a friendly group. I was referred to Ami by an attorney in Pinellas County that had seen her in action and said she was very impressed with her courtroom presence and knowledge. My divorce case was not the easiest to handle for a number of reasons, and I was not, at times, the easiest person to handle either.
