Well, my situation was pretty unique and as all legal situations are, aggravating. Basically, I was arrested on drug charges, one felony and one misdemeanor in one county. I lived too far from this county to complete the drug court for that county in an attempt to have the charges removed. I had the case transferred to my county, completed the drug court and had the case nolle prosequed in my county. All good. Or so I thought. It turns out the case in the arresting county never dismissed the case in union and accordance with the county I lived in. Therefore, while I was happy as can be that I had a felony and misdemeanor nolle prosequed in the county I lived in, unbeknownst to me it remained pending in the arresting county. For 3 years. Why this long you ask? Well, I maintained employment and never changed jobs. Not all those arrested are degenerates, crazy enough. So I never had background checks ran in that time. It wasn't until I moved that I found out that this was still indeed pending as 2 open charges. Now comes Mr. Hornsby. I reached out to him and have never made a better decision. Immediately he laid out the facts and situation better than I would ever expect, because keep in mind. He had no part in my case 3 years ago. Within the first day of services, he had gathered all the needed information and began working on my case immediately. He never lied, exaggerated or ever gave any false hope. Many months later, and to my discovery, much effort on Mr. Hornsby's part, he was able to get my case looked at again, and was able to get my case completely dismissed. To put it simply, this man is a wizard. No BS, no beating around the bush. Mr. Hornsby is straight up and honest. During our first meeting I was told my judge was harsh and I should expect a WH, court costs, and a fee. Maybe probation. I knew immediately that I was in good hands due to his confidence. Within two weeks of my initial meeting with him, my case was dismissed. Not only was the service quick and professional, but the outcome was 100% better than expected.
