I used the DeWitt Law Firm for a divorce case. Melissa Newmons, Esq. handled my case and was great. She called back within hour after my initial call to the office to see if they could handle my case. She was great with communication whether it was a phone call or email. She always kept me up to date even if there was nothing new to tell me she would call or email me just to let me know we where waiting on paperwork or a judge or whatever. Which was nice and unexpected after my last experience with a lawyer (Not the DeWitt Law Firm) I could never get a hold of them they did get the job done for me eventually but handled the case poorly. My experience with the DeWitt Law Firm was the complete opposite. I hope I don’t need to hire a lawyer again but if I do I will definitely be calling the DeWitt Law Firm.

My experience with Moe DeWitt was exemplary. I needed assistance with a complex situation and Moe took the time understand it in its entirety. His responses to calls and emails were always received in a timely fashion. With the highest level of professionalism, he explained things carefully and thoroughly. If I need assistance in the future, DeWitt Law Firm will be my first call, and I would recommend you do the same.

Great experience all around. Handled everything for me, was genuinely concerned for me and was always available if I needed them. I was not looking to gain anything, but wanted to have my medical expenses paid. But DeWitt was able to get everything paid and then some. It was a pleasant experience during not so good time. I appreciate all they did for me.

Hands down I give Dewitt Law Firm a 10 out 10. Working with Aatiya and Laura has been remarkable. I would say my case was challenging, but they stayed professional no matter how frustrating it became. They are very understanding, compassionate, supportive. Any questions or concerns i had they was there the same day or not the next day. I am grateful they were able to help me. I would recommend this team and law firm to anyone.

Melissa Newmons was very easy to work with. She made me feel at ease even in very uncomfortable times. Her paralegal Claudiris Betances was awesome on the paperwork and keeping me updated. She always responded quickly to my needs!

Helped a bunch with my divorce even while I was predominantly unavailable they would leave emails to remind me of upcoming deadlines and such to make sure I was on top of everything

It appears this firm has changed (not for the better) since Mrs Sherrie Dewitt was running it !! I am a previous client of this firm and it does not care about their clients like they used to. I reached out to this firm about two weeks ago and requested to speak to Moses Dewitt, I was assured by the individual i spoke to on the phone that Mr. Dewitt would contact me directly regarding my potential case. It is sad that Mr. Dewitt does not have the time or the courtesy to return my phone call !!

If you want a firm that will help you fight for your child’s safety, this is not it. I had several different paralegals and attorneys have hands in my case and several times attorneys etc left the office all together and I was just handed around with no one actually caring enough to do anything for my kid. I was charged fees time and time again simply because I constantly had to reach out to them and ask them why they were not doing anything. Moe Dewitt himself handled my case a bit and went before the judge with me having submitted zero evidence etc and the judge then ordered my daughter back into the hands of an abuser. He failed me and he knows it. The lives of children should be handled with more care. I waited 16 months with no activity to get my case closed and also had to get on them about why they were not getting it closed. They may do well in other areas but not in cases of abuse. In response to the below response: I did not get what I wanted so I wouldn’t call the case successful. I was begged to remove my review by your office, which I will not do. Speaking with your office further does not give me my money back, does not make your staff care, and does not take back how I was treated. Your office failed. That’s the bottom line. As I said on the phone I’ll repeat here, people pay a lot of money to place trust in your staff that they will work their hardest to help clients. I worked the hardest, I should have paid myself.
