If you are looking for a lawyer that has her clients’ best interest at heart, then Elisabeth Hagood is the one you want. You should pick a lawyer who is well respected in the legal community, both Seminole and Orange County. People know HER and that is what is important, especially when it comes to prosecutors and Judges. During my experience I trusted her completely. I felt like we were truly partners and she never left me hanging. She kept me updated on the case and responded promptly when contacted. Hagood was compassionate and patient, even when I was fed up with the legal system. Every time she walked into the courthouse she was composed, confident, and effective. The case went from possible jail time down to a Judicial warning. They offered a $50 fine. Hagood refused and got it down to the warning. She was worth every penny. Her fees were extremely reasonable, and she did the consultation for free. Give her a call and tell her your situation. I normally do not write reviews, but I looked at a million before finding Elisbeth Hagood. In the past I have dealt with lawyers who do not really care and just want your money. The only way to know the difference is to hear the experiences of others.

I asked her to tell me about my case to see if she read the documents and she could not answer my questions and hang up on me. At first she refused to give me her full name and had the balls to tell me she did not need to give me her name. I asked her if she was hiding something and she hung up> very disappointing.

I had problems with a longtime renter who owed me approximately 6 months rent. My choice was to evict the client who did not want to move and would have caused as many problems for me as possible. With Elizabeth, we worked out an agreement for the past due rent and she wrote a lease that would protect me in the future. It has been 5 years and I still have the same renters and they have almost paid all their debt. It was a win/win for me and the renter. Her fee was more than reasonable. Agreed to write a specific document for a flat fee, changed her mind and did not perform the task agreed to. Ms. Hagood then sent me an invoice for billable hours and kept all my money after providing nothing!! Beware! Check her personal history in Orange County Florida courts before you hire!

Ms. Hagood represented me after my house had gone back to the bank in a foreclosure. Now, 10 months later, my mortgage payment modified to half. My interest rate is 2%.
