I always pursue professional services through referrals from trusted friends, associates, or co-workers. On 31 July 2023, I was involved in a front-end auto collision during which the airbag deployed and fractured my 8th and 9th ribs. Having excellent coverage, my auto insurance covered the cost of medical expenses and I received adequate reimbursement for my vehicle that was totaled. Unsure as to whether I could seek additional compensation, a neighbor and Army veteran had strongly recommended I reach out to Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys. I contacted them in August 2023 and Mr. Tom Sherod was assigned to me. Mr. Sherod invested several hours over numerous days going over my case and various options prior to even asking for a commitment from me. There was absolutely no pressure and that alone earned my confidence and as such I retained his services. Keeping me routinely updated, Mr. Sherod contacted me in April 2024 letting me know the insurance agent had agreed to settle for $35,000. Looking out for my best interests, instead of recommending I accept, he had urged me to pursue a greater amount and move forward with settling for $75,000. In early June 2024, Mr. Sherod informed me that the agent had agreed to increase the settlement to $60,000. Although he reminded me that I was free to decide, his recommendation was to stand my ground and only accept $75,000. I followed his advice. Later that month, Mr. Sherod informed me that the agent had agreed to settle for the full amount, $75,000. Many injury attorneys will promise the world but only few deliver. I assure you, Dan Newlin Injury Attorneys are one of the few. I offer my highest recommendation.
