Being in a car accident is scary and painful and it takes a long time to feel better. My husband and I had the biggest scare of our lives in October 2016 when he was hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle. We were not Florida residents, but were at our home there for the Winter months. My husband was air lifted to Halifax Hospital with severe injuries which required multiple surgeries. His hospital and Carlton Shore Rehab Center stays went through the end of the year. After his release from the Rehab Center, there was home PT sessions and doctor visits (orthopedic, neurological and primary care). We were able to return to our Virginia home in April 2017 where PT sessions continued for several months. Politis & Matovina were recommended to me, and I can tell you they were magnificent. The paralegals were amazing. Always there to help, quick to respond to a call or email. Effective, efficient, caring, professional individuals work at this firm. Michael Politis was the attorney for our case, and we cannot thank him enough for all he (and other members of the firm) did to help us.
