I hired Monahan in 2018 to handle a VOP case. Immediately after paying him, he wouldn't return my calls, texts or emails. He was late to court, just to ask for an extension, claiming I had just hired him (he had been my attorney for 4 weeks already). Didn't even submit the change of council paperwork, switching from my public defender. The week I went to court I had no choice but to hire a new attorney bc I couldn't get in touch with him. Even then my new attorney had to track him down! After all that, he only refunded HALF of my money, even though he did NOTHING. He's a cheap attorney but very cheap work too!
