I don't live in this county but called for general info and spoke with a lady by the name of Marina. Her professionalism was impressive her demeanor cool, calm an collective. She didn't rush me off the phone, but instead kindly listened to my concern and pointed me in the right direction. I remember when every professional law office conducted business on this level not, anymore. This is what amazed me by this employee...her kindness and great people skills!

Strange email response. Dismissive and without explanation. We have a trust we need amended, and instead of calling me, they had a secretary take information and then sent a refusal letter. You cannot write a trust? Very odd. No worries, we found counsel 2 blocks from you that already started on it. Bizarre!

I hired Boyes, Farina, & Matwiczyk to help resolve a family dispute and instead found myself, over three and a half years later, mired in a legal mess primarily of their making, which required new and more capable counsel to resolve. The level of support and attention that BFM provided during their tenure on my case was appallingly low, with legal counsel that was hard-to-reach, lethargic, and generally uninterested. As just one example of their inattention, the firm was supposed to serve cross interrogatories to my elderly mother for more than two and a half years so that her rebuttals to petitioner’s claims could be recorded. My mother, who was one of the litigants, turned 90 during this period. We asked for this work to be done dozens of times to no avail. Although they eventually had an inexperienced associate cobble together an inadequate and poorly written draft, BFM never completed or served the interrogatories. As another example of their bad service, in the summer of 2019 I was told that BFM would finally be devoting more attention and resources to our case, but this promise also went unfulfilled, and instead I was placed in the position of having to chase staff members to secure answers to my questions and stressing, because legal deadlines were barely met at the very last second or not met at all. This pattern was consistent throughout my relationship with BFM. Further, they sent me emails on more than one occasion intended for someone else regarding another client, breaking privilege and leading me to wonder if they’ve done the same thing to me. To top it all off, BFM had us pay our legal fees to them out of the contested trust, which is allowed but only after the other side is notified, which, surprise, surprise, BFM failed to do, even as they failed to tell us that it was not only an issue but an actual legal requirement. My case was eventually resolved, but only after I dismissed BFM and secured new counsel.

We needed an attorney for our will and to add my significant other to my deed. Mr Boyes was very efficient and professional. The cost was less than other attorneys had quoted the I would use them for any legal issues
