I was a whistleblower in a town located in Palm Beach County. The City Manager and his department head retaliated against me for complaining about overtime abuse. My mother was hit by a semi-truck on I75 as a result of the truck driver texting. The driver at first denied that he was on his phone at the time of the accident. Mr. Kaplan was able to get the phone records and match them up to the GPS tracking installed in the truck and prove that the driver had lied and was infact on his cell phone. Was charged with weapons possession violation and Mr. Kaplan was able to get my case thrown out of court because of the illegal search the police did.
