My divorce was probably the most stressful time in my life. I made the wrong decision at the beginning to represent myself. It wasn’t till I was out 10k + and not being able to overcome all the legal hurdles the other attorney had placed for me to lose custody of my kids and even the right to make a point in front of the judge. It’s hard to fight when the opposing attorney goes golfing with the judge. So i decided to call Cabanas Law Firm. The peace of mind Sergio and all of the staff gave me has no price. Let’s just say when the other attorney saw that i was represented by Cabanas. He quickly wanted to change his tune. Also, I got a loan through my bank to pay for the services. Once the divorce was settled I received a check for the difference from the retainer. It wasn’t much but it’s nice to know that they aren’t keeping my money. They only billed what was needed to get the job done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is facing family legal issue. Let me save you the hassle of shopping around. If anyone offers you a cheap divorce. They probably won’t even show up to a hearing. I was that cheap person in the beginning and it cost me 10k, sleepless nights, my parental rights, and the worst of all was that the judge made me pay for her attorney when I didn’t even have one to begin with. So don’t get made when your $500 divorce attorney. Ends up with you losing everything. Sergio and his team made me no promises. But they always told me what my true options were at all times. I’m old school and I was raised on integrity and realistic expectations. Sergio, I will be back. Hopefully not for another divorce. But for the estate planning we talked about in our meeting. I am the dad of 2 beautiful girls, and recently my wife and I decided to finish our relationship after almost 17 years of marriage. As hard as a divorce is, we found in Cabanas Law Office the support that made this difficult decision become an easy process, we decided to move forward with an Uncontested Divorce, once we agreed on all the required aspects of the agreement and stam our signatures, we were officially divorced in only 2 and a half business days, yes, you are reading right, 2 and a half business days, maybe this is a new record.
