I was charged with child abuse by my ex. It was absolutely insane. Was cleared by dcf and ffn. Somehow, It went all the way to jury trial and I was found NOT guilty. Tom works very hard and I'm so thankful for him.

My husband and I needed some legal help, counseling, advice, and direction. We were hoping to sit down with someone who would listen to the situation that we have found ourselves in and then provide for the above-mentioned needs. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Several times in conversation, he made comments regarding our intelligence, or lack thereof, cut us off while we were speaking, had zero interest in listening to our concerns about said situation, and was subsequently of no help. He spoke horribly about his secretary and was rude to her. He made an easy two hundred and fifty dollars off of us, and we left frustrated and with no guidance at all. If you are also in need of the same kind of help as we were, look somewhere else or seek counseling with his daughter, Angela Guttman, and don't waste your time or money.

Due to a letter I received in the mail stating that my judge had recused herself my from my case due to being friends with the "victim", I realized that I had a violation of probation that was administered through my probation office by the alleged victim for "third party contact" and for supposedly contacting him through a fake facebook account. I called a few lawyers but as soon as I contacted Mr. Mcguire I knew he clearly understood my case and that there was no violation. He attempted to get this squashed prior to me turning myself in but no one from the state attorney's office would bother to look at the case and/or respond to his countless attempts to contact them. I finally was forced to turn myself in on the warrant. Mr. Mcguire went above and beyond to contact the Judge's clerk and the prosecutor to get a hearing for dismissal based on lack of evidence. When we went before the judge he stated that he had never dismissed a VOP prior to a VOP hearing. Mr. Mcguire used legal ease that was outside my comprehension but got the judge to listen to his argument. The judge called both attorneys to his stand and they argued legal facts and Mr. Mcguire returned to the podium and the judge said he had no choice but to dismiss the case bc the state had not done their due diligence to investigate this case prior to trying to convict me. This was a huge precedent for VOP cases and I hope Mr. Mcguire is recognized for a job well done! I was released from jail that day and the prosecution had a chance to refile the charges if they had proof and they declined to do so. If you are ever in a predicament where your freedom or rights are at risk, you should call Tom. This was a huge win after years of being harassed and dragged through the legal system by a hostile person. His relationship to people in the system caused many of my legal woes and Tom broke the cycle. Thank you so much! KRP

I was represented by Mr. McGuire and he went above and beyond. Mr. McGuire is a man of integrity and he will fight to the fullest for his clients. He gave me guidance throughout the whole ordeal and was very knowledgeable around the court room. I would surely recommend Mr. McGuire expertise to anyone who is looking for a war battle lawyer who will fight for you as if you were family.

Angela Guttmann is probably the best attorney I’ve seen when it comes to Family Law. She is not an attorney just looking for money as she shows you she actually cares what you are going through and does her best to defuse situations and provide solution. She will be very honest with you on what is important in court and what really isn’t. Her attention to detail is top notch and she remembers things very well considering the number of cases she works on. She is organized and on top of it. She is highly recommended across many Pensacola Facebook groups, by other reputable attorneys, the community, Police Officers, etc. Angela also has a personality that calms things when something should be a stressful situation, a true gift! Mr. Guttmann & his staff are wonderful. He's direct, to the point, real & honest. He kept me from getting "run over" in a divorce & again later when my Ex/his family were trying to get my alimony revoked due to his "bad choices". He's not inexpensive & could be considered arrogant, but he is who you'd want on YOUR side/representing YOU in a divorce case.

I hired Angela to help me establish a new parenting plan and child support. She is a shark!! She left no stone unturned. The other party made their financial discovery difficult for Angela, but she always found a way to get the information we needed. At the end the plan that was established was what I was hoping for and then some! Her fees are fair for the amount of work and time she puts into her cases. She is a no b.s attorney. She is also an attorney that won’t take your case just for the money. If she feels like she can’t help you or you won’t likely get the outcome you want based on the information you give her, she’ll tell you. She doesn’t care about flashy websites and gloating about all the cases she wins. All she cares about and focuses on are her clients and getting them the best outcome she can.

Angela Guttmann handled my divorce case. With me, she was patient, understanding, and very professional. At trial she was a bulldog and represented me vigorously. Beware this attorney!! He will not represent you like he took an oath to do. He doesn’t even have the motivation to explain to his paying client what should be written in your final statement to the judge before your sentencing. A 3rd grade English teacher could have given better guidance. Please seek legal counsel elsewhere if you’re looking for a fair shake. Like, every lazy attorney out there he will try to get you to take plea and than leave you holding the bag on your own. I hope you sleep well at night without your conscience bothering you.
