I filed a pro se public records request lawsuit against (ECUA) Emerald Coast Utilities Authority. They responded very aggressively and I went to Alistair McKenzie. Alistair filed a great amended complaint, advised me on their depositions and hearings, and even more aggressively litigated our claim in Court with success! Alistair McKenzie is not only knowledgeable and professional but has a genuine interest in insuring a positive outcome for his clients. He worked diligently on our automobile dealership fraud case, kept us informed, and achieved a favorable outcome with which we are very pleased. He is a very personable and genuine person, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing the services of an attorney in his field of practice. As a side note, I think that anyone that leaves a negative comment in a post (like one previously) should at least say what their issue is. It leaves me to believe it either has no merit or was a personal issue. It is unfair to disparage anyone publicly without giving them a chance to address the issue. It only serves to misguide people looking for real recommendations.

I first went to this firm to see if I had a potential suit, which Jim determined I did. While preparing my suit, I then needed help with my disability suit so they also helped me by referring another attorney who could share their records. I worked with several receptionists, paralegals & attorneys in this firm, all of which showed me nothing but respect. Even coming for a meeting in tears, they met me in the closest office to the door possible. My disability was awarded to me in March, 2015 & my med mal suit settled on the 3rd day of trial.
