I was looking for a lawyer to file some paperwork for me and my client referred me to Ed. I can't say enough about the great work he did for me. He's very professional and knows what he's doing and I would use him again in a heartbeat.

It came time when I finally decided to retain an attorney. I had many friends who were attorneys but practiced different points of the law. This issue was dragging on way to long. My criteria was simple, I wanted an attorney who was knowledgeable, dedicated and who would work diligently and treat me and my case as a priority. But where do you find that person. For me, it began with an exhausted search of the internet. I did some checking and called to book an appointment to meet with Mr. Shahady in his office. We met and discussed the merits of the case, and at no time was he looking at his watch, checking his cell, or giving me any impression he had somewhere else to be. After the conclusion, he stated is opinion and warned me that in order to have a positive result, it would require me providing him with all the information on the issues. At that point I was committed, we executed some documents, and he said I would be hearing from one of his associates soon. I left his office after 2:00 pm. At 8:30 that night, I received a call from a gentleman from his office introducing himself and creating the dialogue that would allow for results desired. Over the coming weeks and months we prepared and filed motions that ultimately led to a happy client, me! I cannot say enough about the firm, Mr. Shahady or Achilles (I kid you not) who was the gentleman who called me at 8:30 PM still working. I strongly recommend Mr. Shahady and his office, you won't be sorry!

Ed is without a doubt the best lawyer in Broward County. Not only is he diligent and thorough, but he always makes time for you and will always explain everything, so you can decide on the proper course of action, together. Working with him was an absolute pleasure!

When I first met with Ed for a free consultation at this downtown office he spent over an hour with me. After searching for after search for my legal question online, I put my list of questions together for Ed and he went through them and answered them all for me.I was facing a potential foreclosure which is very stressful being this is a home that I have great pride in , have owned for over 10 years and have a lot of money invested in. He explained to me every and all options I have available to me, and what he would be able to do for me. He also offered me a very reasonable payment plan which made it very easy for me to move forward right away. He truly just wanted to help and it was very clear.I did not get that from anyone else I had met with as all I felt with them is they were rushing me out and trying to get a retainer agreement set up. So far, it has been the most pleasure experience under the circumstances of having to need an attorney in the first place. He is always a phone call away if I have any questions or concerns, even late at night and on weekends. He always keeps me up to date on the status of my case. I am still working with him and usually do not take the time to write reviews but in this case I felt it was worth it as I know how important it is when people just do not know who to choose when there are so many out there advertising their services. In addition I am a Realtor so he also does Real Estate closings in which he has also handled for my clients and they have been handled so smoothly that now I have a go to guy to use that I know will make for a smooth transaction. If you are looking for a good attorney, that knows his stuff a phone call to Ed is definitely worth your time.
