I wouldn’t use this group ever again. In my 2 years that I had them working my case I spoke to my attorney three times. The total hours worked on my case in two years was less than 60 hours. Everything else was put through his paralegals whom were not good doing anything. They insisted on email contact vs phone even after asking multiple times not to email. They definitely weren’t at bat for me, they were there for themselves. I had to constantly hound them for new doctors to be assigned to me after I moved away from Florida. They always told me my settlement would take 8-10 weeks when it ended up being 4 months and blamed that on child support documents when I have never paid support and even wasted time sending those documents to the county I worked in and had never lived in. (I’m sure this was to be able to charge me more so they had more $ for themselves). They also had many errors in my settlement agreement itself in which I had to make them aware of. Upon my settlement they withheld $200 for any extra fees if needed for any extra time they put into my claim after it was closed. They then billed me postage for sending my medical records which they tried to bill me for (I already paid for all of those per my settlement) and interest out of that. I have requested a itemized statement showing postage and interest and the state that they are unable to provide that I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone. They have been nothing but a major headache!

Thanks to Rue and Ziffra. But more specifically to Luis Gracia and his team, Jennifer Lloyd and Jaclyn Sawicki. Together they won my Social Security Disability case for me. Over the years I kept faith and remembered Luis saying to me " I never give up!" And "I never lose". And he was right. Me and my family appreciate your dedication. I was contacted by Jennifer from an online request I had made. I explained to her my situation with Social Security and that I had been through this process with a previous lawyer and wanted to know what options I might have. Even though I understand the system with SS is terrible you have to be dead and have medical docs to back that up, she was very rude and sounded like they do when they deny you. You guys need to find a more compassionate screener for your firm. These people when they call for your help don't need someone sounding like, " Sorry you were denied because you should have been", who's side are you on? Very rude and unprofessional.

Allan Ziffra, my lawyer didn't show up for the mediation. He sent another lawyer who wasn't familiar with my case, in fact I had never even met him before the mediation. I wouldn't recommend this firm.

I was personally recommended to an attorney, who worked for Rue & Ziffra, so I called and sought her out. They sent an attorney to my job the very same day to determine if I had a case. I was in pain and angry. He was a gem, took my statement and the next day I heard from my case manager, Nichole Nicholson and my attorney, Kim Bouck. We kept in contact and I was happy with how the communication went on my case. When I had a concern I just called or e-mailed and it was addressed. They kept me informed the entire time. I appreciated this because previous experiences with attorneys was quite different. When the first couple of offers came in and I wasn't happy, I felt that my attorney was on my side and she went back in and pulled out a victory. I loved the service my Team provided, but most of all I loved the fact that Rue & Ziffra settled for a lower percentage of the proceeds than any of their competitors.
