John was very knowledgeable about my case and the out come. He made me feel reassured that he was going to do the best job he could for me and he did. Knowing that he knew all sides of the law from start to finish was very comforting. I have recommended him to other people in similar situations and I would call him again in a heartbeat.

John defended me in a mess that I got myself into last year. I was charged with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. I failed to show up for my original court hearing and was issued a bench warrant that I was eventually picked up on during that arrest I was in possession of a controlled substance as well as paraphernalia again. John successfully got into the ARD program, but shortly there after I was charged with shoplifting and after that a public drunkenness that would have violated the terms of my ARD probation. John worked with me and the court system to get me the treatment I needed and was able to get me back into the ARD program and have the majority of the charges dismissed. I am hopeful I will never have to utilize his services again, but if I needed to I wouldn't hesitate at all to hire him again. He is a stand up gentleman and an excellent attorney!

He did great and now I can enjoy my life. I have learned and gained alot of info.

John represented my son on several criminal and misdemeanor charges. The goal was to not have my son lose his drivers license as it is needed for his work. John was successful in obtaining this objective. John was prompt to answer questions via telephone and email. He treated my son with respect and guided us through the legal process with good outcomes. I hope to not need John again but if I should he will be our first call.

JR is an experienced professional in all aspects of criminal law. John got me out of a huge debacle in Philadelphia where I was facing Definite jail time. Long & short Mr Rutkowski was able to find cracks in the case which led to a dismissal of all charges! John is a consummate professional who will work with you from beginning to end. With an ocean of lawyers in the tri state area John is king in my eyes. If you want the best look no further.

I hired John to represent my daughter and her 4 children in Divorce/Custody case. At first, he seemed interested but as time went on, a very short period of time, she could see clearly that he was not all that interested. In the short period of time he was her attorney - an abusive husband who flew under the radar for 10 years got 50% time visitation - absolutely unheard of. He was NON supportive to my family when we needed legal support the most. He told my daughter on more than one occasion that he didn't have time to answer all her emails and texts. I'm sure he is a good criminal defense lawyer, but if you need a FAMILY lawyer - look elsewhere. I ended up retaining another attorney so the almost 4,000 we paid him was just flushed down the drain

I had a case that lasted 2 years with Mr. Rutkowski. During this time he never provided my discovery packet, although I repeatedly asked for it. He moved out of state without my knowledge. When my court date came around he made it very obvious that he had other business in PA where he moved. In the end, I received the same deal that I could have got on my own with a public defender. In my opinion, he will not fight for you in court and will only do what accommodates his life. I will say with certainty that he is not a good lawyer. What else can you expect from a former FHP officer?

I put my faith in Mr. Rutkowski and I'm glad I did. He really invested himself into my case and everything worked out. He's also a pretty cool guy to chat with while waiting through hours of courtroom boredom.

At first Mr. Rutkowski seemed very sympathetic to my plight. However, as time went on, he seemed less concerned about the outcome of my case. While I thought he was a very nice man, he seemed preoccupied with more important cases. He often traveled to other states in which he passed the bar, making it difficult to catch up with him. It was difficult to have papers reviewed when he was several states away. There were often long lags and poor follow-up. I felt that he didn't ask pertinent questions to me nor did he push for an ideal outcome. The self-confidence that he had upon first meeting seemed to have eroded. That is unfortunate, as I believe he is a good person. I think a lawyer who does not split time between far away states would be a better option.

for almost 22 years i had an open bench warrant, these 22 years i had a lfe but was not living, being impressed by Mr Rutkowski's, website and track record of helping good people who blundered, i contacted Mr Rutkowski explained my situation, he immediately checked my background he noted it was an old case, he could advocate on my behalf and I might not have to attend the hearing, but could not determine an outcome of the case, the conversation alone with Mr Rutkowski gave me a gut feeling, this attorney could be trusted and would do his best to help me, Mr Rutkowski as a defence attorney was the best decision I made in my entire life, the cases was called up and dismissed, I hold Mr Rutkowski in high regard and will recommend him to all good people who had a brush with the law and had been brushed off. thanks Mr Rutkowski. I really had my doubts at first but John did what he said he was going to do I am a Florida Resident who had a criminal case in Philadelphia, PA John took my case and was totally successful getting everything cleared for me he has restored my faith in lawyers I would suggest to anyone reading this to give him a try he is a great lawyer :) thank you so much.
