Hicks worked for me as General Counsel for the Thomas Cooley Law School for about ten years before he became a tenured member of the law faculty. His duties included counsel regarding investments, real estate and municipal bonds. He was an extremely popular and effective teacher, particularly in thearea of real and personal property.
