I had an extremely complicated DUI charge in Brevard County, Florida. The complications were due to the circumstances leading up to my charge after calling the police for help with my wife's stolen purse from a local establishment. Everybody has a story; in mine, I strongly felt innocent of the charge, and the evidence they cited was emotional and wrong. My first action was to do in-depth research into state attorneys to find who would best represent me. After interviewing 4 law firms in the Orlando/Melbourne area, I found Leppard Law. My first interaction with the firm was on point. I provided a brief overview of my situation; they explained the process in great detail and provided a timeline estimation. My next interaction would be to meet my attorney, Leigh Glassman. From the first time I spoke with Leigh, I knew I had the right lawyer. Her passion for her job and dedication to her clients was evident. I admit I was slightly biased towards her in finding out she is a fellow military veteran. After talking with her several times, she immediately (within days) went to fight with the DMV and got my non-restricted original driver's license back to me until I appeared in court. Following the return of my license, I would get a call every few weeks updating me on the status. Almost ten months after my charge, I received a call from Leigh to appear in court for a motion to suppress evidence. She had gone over everything with me in detail, and I felt confident but still nervous. I had grown to believe that Leigh Glassman was good. However, I was to learn exactly how good she was when she began to speak in court. Leigh calmed my nerves with a very deliberate approach to the systematic delivery of the facts in my case. She dismantled the police officer's investigation, professionally rebutted the DA repeatedly with verifiable facts, and displayed a professional confidence that received the full attention of the court. Following all the testimonies, Leigh started referencing about a half dozen cases to the Judge. By the end of the hearing, all of my nerves were gone. The Judge took no time to throw out ALL the "evidence," and the DA had to dismiss all charges and the entire case! Leigh Glassman is a professional representing true justice and an exemplary standard in legal defense. I would recommend Leigh Glassman to anyone who needs a top DUI or criminal defense attorney.
