We hired Bill after interviewing 4 attorneys in town. We found Bill to be the most competent, compassionate, understanding and efficient. In addition to being an excellent estate counsel, he's also an excellent accountant and this combination is crucial for proper estate counsel. He's very accessible, anticipates issues before they arise. It was a complicated estate which he guided us through with ease. We were so pleased with his services that we hired him for our own estate preparation. Bill also employs a staff that match his high standards. My siblings, myself and - above all, my mom - are very fortunate to have found Bill McQueen. Though attorneys are, in my mind, one of those professionals one wants direct word-of-mouth referral to, Bill was referred to me through quite a circuitous route; and I could not have been sent to anyone better. My family needed to re-do virtually all of my mother's legal documents, do substantial work on her finances, and apply for VA A&A, as my mother's health declined, and we had to move her into assisted living. Not only did Bill do an absolutely amazing job with all of this with incredible expertise and efficiency, he also was extremely responsive at every (and I mean EVERY) turn. Not a question, need, suddenly-pressing deadline, or otherwise came up that Bill did not jump on it - and with remarkable thoroughness. I feel so much more comfortable with my mother's legal documents and legal work overall, and - beyond that - following all the time and effort Bill and I put into applying for VA A&A for my mom, the benefits were awarded - saving my family more than $12,000 a year in paying for my mom's care. Finally - When one is the midst of doing all he can to help an aging parent in failing health, compassion and concern certainly help. And Bill certainly has quite a bit of both. His approach, demeanor and personality overall have been a help in and of themselves. Bill McQueen was kind enough to handle my late brother's estate last year, and I can't say enough good things about his expertise and caring during this time of sorrow.
