I have just successfully completed a very prolonged and convoluted legal struggle with not just one but two insurance companies serving the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida. My insurance company and a construction company refused to even consider compensating me for very severe damage to my condominium by the latter during an outside rehabilitation of the overall building. During the maneuverings to limit the insurance company’s liabilities by their legal team at depositions, mediation and in written correspondence I was absolutely amazed by the cool, solid & knowledge based responses and demands by my unruffled attorney. I will at this point just say that we had a very good win. The latter could even be better described as a “win-win” because as part of the settlement with the insurance company she was able to prevail on them to allow us follow their subrogation claim on the builders insurance which resulted in further compensation for my damages. I am extremely grateful to Attorney Demers-Crowell for standing by me for a prolonged period of time against two behemoths of the insurance industry. On multiple occasions our the insurance company for our home rejected our claims for the damage a sink hole had caused.
