Our family did not have a good experience with Karen Keaton. My advice to anyone having a Trust set up: 1-Never use a lawyer recommended by your financial adviser. Find an independent one. 2-Research your lawyer. Read reviews. See if they have been disciplined by a state licensing authority. 3-Read and understand what you are signing. Don't assume they are being honest and up front with you. Bring a knowledgeable trusted person with you to explain anything that isn't clear to you. 4-Stay clear of this practice if you're looking for ethical, professional, knowledgeable help. We used Legacy Protection Lawyers and were extremely pleased with them.
