When my mom passed away, her estate was left with a distressingly large tax bill that I had no way of paying. I had one CPA who had "experience" with the IRS tell me that my best bet would be to sell my mom's townhouse to cover the tax-bill. He said an offer in compromise would never work, and that I may as well just face the music. Thank goodness I found Katie. She clearly has the knowledge and expertise to negotiate with the IRS because her OIC was accepted. She negotiated the tax bill down from roughly a year's salary to a week's salary! A huge difference. Thank you, Katie - this was a potentially life-altering event that you helped me navigate quite successfully. You're a life-saver.

I can’t say enough positive things about Katie! She is dedicated and knowledgeable when it comes to her practice. She is honest with you and gives you an outline of what to expect before she even takes your place. She has become very busy recently but I view this as a good thing!! She does not neglect you, this means she is doing a good job and having other people notice.

Honestly, I do not know how she even keeps her license to practice law. I hired her for a very important matter. She accepted the case. She absolutely would not communicate. Numerous calls, messages, emails. After finally getting her attention by telling her I would file a complaint, she would apologize and promise to get working. She never did anything at all! I have worked with many attys in the last 40 years and I have never seen a worse one, or one more disorganized. Also, this is an honest post. I am not an atty, nor do I work for one. I am posting this simply as a former client to worn others. I would give her ZERO stars if I could.

I hired Kathryn because I needed to probate a sizable check held by the state after my wife died. As soon as I met her I felt comfortable with her. She provided the service I needed for a fair fee and communicated what was happening throughout. Not only would I recommend her to others with similar needs, but I intend to use her services again soon.

While I am not an attorney I have worked in the legal profession all of my adult life. I have known Katie for several years. When my brother passed away, she was the first attorney that I thought to call.
