He started probate for mother's estate. She passed in 2019 it took about 2 weeks That's fast and efficient. He's easy to contact. He answers emails quickly. 5⭐ for Ryan Schmidt attorney with Jon Coats.

I have recently had a loss in my family and needed an attorney. Ryan was highly recommended and rightfully so. He was beyond courteous and thoughtful. I know nothing about legal proceedings and he helped me through all of it. I live over 2000 miles away and Ryan always made sure we could have any meetings in a prompt and clear manner. I always felt like I was his most important client and I know he will make you feel the same. Ryan is hands down a fantastic lawyer and an even more fantastic person.

I was referred to Jon Coats by my CPA, and had Mr. Coats do some work for me on a property I bought. I was to contact Mr. Coats when the property was paid off for him to transfer the property into the LLC. Well, I've been trying to reach Mr. Coats for some time now. Not ounce, have I received a phone call back after trying to reach him. Again I tried, and was told he was on vacation, no worries, but still no phone call back. This has been going on for over six months. Today I called, and the lady that answered the phone told me after I questioned her about Jon calling me back said, and I quote "it's quite possible if he has not gotten back in touch with you, he may not be interested". I asked her if he wasn't interested in working with me on legal maters, why didn't he just call and say so. So I'm going to contact my CPA, which I happen to be friends with to let him know what has happened. I'm writing this to alert anyone calling Mr. Jon Coats for work to keep this in mind. I'm a small business owner and this kind of thing would put me out of business in no time. Very rude company. My response to Mr.Coat's response! Just for the record Mr. Coats, I was a client, a paying client. This is further concern to anyone looking to hire this firm for any work what so ever. If you really cannot find a record for me, this is troubling. It took me about 2 minutes to find your records, payment and date. Try looking up a credit card charge on the date of 05/16/2016. All I had to do is look up your last name on my Quickbooks, wasn't hard. I won't post the amount you charged me, but I am a client, a paying client. I also have all the e-mails from you sent back and forth with your instructions on what to do and when to do it. I tried many times to reach you, but you or your firm did nothing to return my calls or to manage my needs per your instructions. Shame on you!

I own multiple family homes, and gave Jon a great review in the past, but no more. Like another reviewer as shown in this thread of reviews, Mr. Anderson who had issues with Mr. Coats, he is correct.

From the moment I walked into Jon Coats office and had my first consultation I knew I was in the right place. When you meet Jon it's like you've known him forever. I've referred friends and family since and we all agree. I was referred to Jon through a friend for my Forclosure which is a horrible thing to go through but Jon made it practically effortless on my part. He handles everything while answering all my questions and explaining the situation so clearly and patiently leaving no room for confusion never making our time feel rushed or "on the clock". I can't say enough good things about Jon coats. I will be calling and trusting him with any legal needs in the future absolutely.
