Cheese and Crackers. Paul just pulled me out of THE MOST INSANE HOLE I have ever been in. Literally the difference between my ex getting $30k instead of MILLIONS!!!! Paul showed me the light which turned out to be a train barreling towards me at 100mph about to destroy my life. Him and Max slapped me out of my daze, pulled me aside, and put together the most CLUTCH 97-page contract and got 9 other people which included me, my ex, 4 witnesses, 2 notaries, and another lawyer to show up at this signing ceremony and WE MADE IT HAPPEN!!!!! Mr. Leinoff helped me resolve a very complex paternity/custody case over ten years ago. Despite the intricate nature of the case, Mr. Leinoff was able to resolve issues quickly, efficiently, and effectively to bring the case to a close. I walked away with everything I had asked for-and more. Aside from his superb litigation skills, he was compassionate, readily available, and always made sure to reassure me I was not alone throughout the most difficult of times. Anyone who is going through a custody battle has likely been told to "coparent" and "put the child first". Though this may sound like a foreign language at the time, I assure you that if you take Paul's advice and do so, your child will thrive as a result. Our son is living proof. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Paul Leinoff, both as an attorney and as a human being. Apparently, it isn’t often that one can say that they not only liked their attorney throughout and after the whole process, but also developed an admiration for their desire to seek justice and truth in a very sad and dark area of the law. In fact, Paul is a light in that dark arena. Paul came into my case a couple of years after my divorce and the retirement of the attorney who had crafted my MSA, and he never missed a beat. He is intuitive, honest and just. Paul deeply cared about me and what I was experiencing both personally and legally. Although we never met in person until the day of mediation because I am out of state, he developed a level of comfort and confidence in our professional relationship by phone and email, patiently allowing me to share my personal/family pain, my financial needs and limitations, as well as my legal needs. Paul clearly explained the law and helped me to set expectations and understand possible outcomes. After our first conversations, Paul was immediately able to discern the personalities with which he was dealing and knew how things needed to be handled. In negotiations, it appeared to be a David and Goliath situation, only because my financial limitations allowed for just Paul to be in my room. I cannot emphasize enough the well-placed confidence I had in Paul that day. Although the other side had the appearance of a big army, I had Paul. And that was all I needed. His deft use of the law and mastery of negotiation, as well as his banner of protection over me as his client allowed us to “win” the day, if one can say that anyone actually “wins” in divorce. From all the stories that I have heard, from all the people who have suffered through difficult divorces, I can with all confidence recommend Paul Leinoff.
