I hired Christian from Van Riper & Nies attorneys to represent my uncle in a DUI case. He was very knowledgeable, and he helped my uncle achieve the best outcome possible. He always returned our phone calls, and kept us up to date with any new information. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Christian to anyone I care about that is in need of an attorney.

Christian is the best lawyer that I know. He would always get back to me quickly whenever I had questions about my case. He will not sugarcoat things or tell you what you want to hear to get you to pay his retainer. He will give you his honest opinion about your case. That being said, I could not have gotten a better result than what Christian got me.

I hired Christian in my domestic battery case and he had assured me early on that my sentence would be reasonable. I went 13 weeks at one point with him not accepting one of my calls while I was incarcerated. He also missed multiple appointments during my time incarcerated. Despite my reluctance to follow his advice in hiring a psychiatrist and paying $1,500.00 for an evaluation I did. Christian said verbatim "if you pay the fee the psychiatrist will say what we need him to". Once the psychiatrist completed the report I was advised by the psychiatrist office that Christian never even followed up on obtaining the report. At my sentencing after Christian failed miserably to have my felony withheld he walked out of the courtroom without even saying anything to me or discussing an appeal. He is a poor excuse for a lawyer and should not be in litigation.

Mr. Van Riper genuinely listened and spoke about my family law case, and the options I had. After speaking with many attorney's, Mr. Van Riper's consultation was thorough enough to avoid going to court. I can't thank you enough, and will definitely make referrals to this law firm.

I hired Christian to defend me against criminal charges that I was facing. The case lasted for several months. Christian would always get back to me quickly whenever I had questions, and he worked hard to get the charges dropped. He's a wonderful attorney and person.

Where do I begin? Mr. VanRiper is wonderful. He answers every phone call and email, so refreshing! He will give you all the information you need, and answer every question. I used his services for legal advice and he really does want the best outcome for you. From the first moment I met him, I knew I wanted him as my lawyer. Hire him as your lawyer, you will not regret it.

Hired him and the first problem I had was when I left the office I thought his rate was $250 per hour and asked him to provide a monthly accounting and never received one ever, and I was not happy with his lack of response to my communication and not doing what he said so I terminated him and hired another attorney and after giving him a $6400 he refused to refund the balance after doing 2 hearings and 1 deposition. He is a nice guy but when you take $6400 for a couple hours work that we agreed on $250 per hour that makes him a crook in my book

Christian Van Riper's knowledge of the law and court side manner are outstanding ! Where I would like to applause Mr. Van Riper, is his compassion and understanding when it comes to handling the sensitive nature of family cases. I appreciated his ability to keep me centered and focused during a very emotional time. I highly recommend him and his very courteous and helpful staff.

Not only is this man a very good attorney, but he make you feel at ease. He is very patient and is genuinely a good guy. I had bad experiences with other attorneys that would literally kick me when i was down. Unfortunately that is a common tactic used by criminal lawyers. They throw what ever you got arrested for in your face and intimidate you. NOT Christian, he is a standup man.

Both were VERY helpful about the Florida court process and knowledgeable in all aspects of defense. Coming from Texas we were not familiar with the Florida Judicial system. My husband and I were very discouraged and upset by the false charges against him. Christian and Tim’s knowledge of the Criminal Florida court system and investigative skills truly pulled us through a very difficult situation. They were extremely helpful and efficient in resolving questions that we had. I was surprised by their accessibility. Anytime we had a question, and trust me we had many, they responded quickly. I truly had begun to doubt the judicial system, but they stepped up explained the process and plainly described our options and outcomes.
