Joseph Gufford’s knowledge of family law is outstanding and current. He along with his team has represented me through a very difficult divorce that could have left me financially devastated, but because of his abilities and diligence through the mediation process I am very happy with the results he was able to achieve for me.

Mr. Gufford represented me in a Department of Revenue Support case. I owed over $100K but I had become a disabled veteran with a very limited income. They had suspended my drivers license and Mr. Gufford and his staff went to work right away on my case. he completely out performed the DOR's lawyer and won my case. I am eternally grateful for his help. Donna was my assigned paralegal and she kept me up to date with the case and worked very hard on my financial affidavit. On the day of trial, Mr. Gufford had notebooks of the evidence ready for the Court, myself and the Judge. He also had the pertinent case law on the subject. DOR had nothing prepared. Mr. Gufford objected multiple times to questions posed by the DOR lawyer and they were SUSTAINED. The DOR lawyer objected multiple time to questions posed by Mr. Gufford and they were OVERRULED. I highly recommend The Gufford Law Firm if you have any family law issues, especially DOR child support issues.

Mr. Gufford and his team are amazing! My divorce was the most vicious divorce known to man. It was a high conflict case, with multiple domestic violence injunctions, and constant arguments every step of the way. My ex-husbands lawyer did nothing. They didn't properly submit financials. They didn't prepare the final judgement for our review. They literally fumbled through the entire process. Joe and his team picked up the slack, and helped get us to the mediation table, and were even the ones to set the final hearing date. (Which was the Petitioners responsibility) I walked out of mediation, on the first try feeling like I didn't lose everything I've worked my life to build. I may have a broken heart, but at least I have a healthy foundation to start my life over. Without Joe's help, encouragement, knowledge of the law, and most of all his uplifting kindness and support to pull me through it, I wouldn't be where I am today. Thank you so much!!

I had such a good first impression of Joe during my initial consultation and he followed through to the end of my divorce. He and his team were readily available, provided me with emotional support and were very experienced. In my case, I relocated and needed to have my child with me with a long distance parenting plan. He fully understood my situation and really shined during my mediation.
