After the recent death of her husband, our daughter needed estate planning, especially to protect her young children. At the recommendation of a friend, we found David Hanley in Sunrise, FL, near Ft. Lauderdale. I have been a lawyer for over 40 years, although I do not practice estate planning. I could not be more impressed with his work and demeanor. He is skilled, intelligent, and empathetic. He worked quickly, compassionately, and made her feel as comfortable as possible, considering the circumstances. She is not wealthy, but he treated her as if she is. I have no doubt he could handle high-wealth cases with ease. His fee was very affordable and he made it convenient for her. If you need estate planning (wills, trusts, living wills, powers of attorneys, designation of health care surrogates, etc.), at an affordable rate, I highly recommend him. My husband and I hired Mr. Hanley to give us advice and strategies regarding the difficulties we were having coming up with our estate plan and then he drafted and completed our estate planning documents. He is a very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and patient lawyer. We are so happy we utilized his services and recommend him highly.

Top flight probate expert. You are lucky if you engage Attorney Hanley. I contacted him after the loss of a loved one. He was empathetic, knowledgeable, and instantly recognized the issues that needed to be dealt with first. Estates, Probate, and as far as I'm concerned, I would contact him about any legal matter. He's that smart, and a nice guy too.

Not only a remarkable, timely, and organized lawyer, but a good man who takes time to understand beyond legalities. I just recently concluded my probate process that began when my mother passed quite suddenly in January of 2019. I was 26 years old, an only child, and I also lost my father at a young age. I knew I needed a lawyer, but had no knowledge of what that entailed. I had consultations with other lawyers previous to my referral to David, and after our first phone conversation I immediately felt comfortable, secure, and knew I was in good hands. Over the course of time, Mr. Hanley has made this process so incredibly smooth considering the circumstances; he saved me money, he looked out for my best interest, and went above and beyond to ensure that this process would be efficient, without stress, and to my benefit as much as possible after the trauma I went through. E-mails and phone calls were always immediately followed up by him, alongside thorough explanations of what I needed to do on my end to simplify things for me were just some of the perks that eased my anxiety and got me through this. I cannot praise him enough.

We were looking for a lawyer to complete our estate planning, such as wills and power of attorney etc. David was recommended to us by a friend upon asking, as we really did not know where to start with the process. David helped me in updating my Estate Plans now that I am here in Florida and also helped me with some questions relating to a beneficiary living overseas. He is very prompt with emails, and answers and helped me with all my (many) questions. I highly recommend him.
