Called to inquire about issues of discrimination in public accommodations; was informed the law firm could not take the case. I thought about the matter and called back to obtain a reason as to why, and was informed, " based on the firm's policies, we cannot disclose why we cannot take a case:. In disbelief, I repeated what she said. I was speechless.
Maybe, this is a practice of all firms, however, this is the first time I have been told a law firm could not disclose why it cannot take a case.
