In our first meeting, Luke explained clearly the process we would be going through together to resolve my case. Everything went exactly as he had predicted, one step following the next. I was never caught by surprise or blindsided a single time. He did a tremendous amount of research and work on my behalf in a thoroughly professional manner, and my case was ultimately resolved to my complete satisfaction. I can recommend him wholeheartedly.

Luke represented me in a traffic case. I contacted other local attorneys beforehand and no one had the confidence that he expressed about winning my case. The citation was dismissed with only court cost and traffic school. Don't call a huge firm where you will have no idea who is representing you. I wanted to take a minute to comment about Mr. Newman and how helpful he was for me during a very difficult time. Back in late January my son who is a college student in Tallahassee was arrested for a couple Felony offenses. Not being from Tallahassee I was at a disadvantage not knowing anyone there who I could get help from. After attempting to use the Public Defender in my son's case I could see that the PD's office was inadequate to say the least. I contacted Luke Newman and after he explained his process and plan I hired him to defend my 19 yr. old son. Mr. Newman went to work immediately on his case. From May to September the legal process worked it's way out. In the end Mr. Newman was able to have one of the most serious charges dropped altogether. The other charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. During this ordeal I had numerous conversations over the phone as well as emails and text messages from him. I can truly say that he was always prompt in contacting me and even after hours he would either call me or text me about my concerns depending on the situation. Luke has been a great lawyer for me! The state attorney was set on sending me to jail but after several plea offers Luke was able to settle my charges with probation. I then hired a different lawyer to handle my early termination of probation, what a nightmare! I immediately went back to Luke and he saved me out of the mess I was in. “My family hired Luke to represent my son in a serious criminal case. The Office of the State attorney initially wanted to send my son to prison. Luke investigated the case and eventually worked out a probation agreement. This was a massive relief to my family and me as we were bracing ourselves for prison. After the agreement was entered, a couple issues arose during my son’s probationary term. Luke effectively handled those issues quickly and discretely. Luke then coordinated the early termination of my son’s probation at the appropriate time. Luke is highly recommended in my opinion. I went to his office in tears. Niot only did he reassure me, he also listened to my long-winded story.
