Mr Ufferman was recommended by my daughters defense attorney after my daughter was sentenced to life in prison. For 3 years Mr Ufferman has been fighting for my daughter. Just a couple of days ago my daughters sentence was reduced to 30 years. Mr Ufferman’s expertise in the courtroom was felt and heard! We are thankful to have him representing our daughter.

It's hard to overstate the impact Michael had on my life. Michael proactively contacted my family about appealing my case, immediately after sentencing. Michael knew justice was not being served in my case. For 2 years he worked like hell, researching every appealable issue of my case and successfully arguing in the District Court of Appeals. I believe when a person buys any legal services from an attorney, that service should come with a superior level of customer service. Something that is rarely seen amongst a legal culture dominated by arrogant & inconsiderate attorneys. With that being said, I really appreciate how Michael Ufferman handled my case. As a black man claiming "stand your ground" I knew that I would need his appellant expertise early in the process, so we got him involved with my case months before closing arguments and almost a year before filing an appeal. Michael was the epitome of a humble servant the entire time. He listened exactly to what I told him and translated it very persuasively into court language. When we sat down to discuss strategies and tactics, he always asked for my permission and approval before he submitted or did anything. His mentality and behavior was exactly what I want and expect from any lawyer. I most definitely got what I paid for and it was worth every penny.I just wish we could have forced the DCA to speed up the process.

Michael filed 5 postponements of case and did not call me to notify me of the results of the appeal. He also told me to toughen up when placed in solitary confinement for 7 months. Totally lacks integrity and knowledge in appeal cases.
