David discussed my case with me in detail and he really listened and presented in court What we talked about. He not only litigated the facts in the case but he also had compassion for what I was going through and he communicated this to the judge in a way that touched her heart. David responds To my text or my phone calls in a timely manner and has a very good presents in court. I feel lucky to have hired him and have him on my side

Phenomenal criminal defense attorney. Has great knowledge of criminal law and procedure. Judges like him and prosecutors respect him because of his smarts and integrity. I hired him for a a complex situation in federal court. He immediately took charge, the prosecutor was surprised by how thorough his investigation and work was and dropped the case. Hope I never need him again, but I wouldn't go to anyone else. Class act and very intelligent and approachable.

David Knox partnered with my son's attorney right before his trial began. I didn't know much about him, but trusted our Attorney Anthony Rickman and had no doubts that he knew what was best for my son. Mr. Knox was very different then Rickman: softer spoken and much calmer then Rickman. They were like YIN AND YANG, contrary in performance that yet united and focused on my son's defense. It wasn't until trial began that I witnessed his many talents, and skillfulness. Knox is crafty and well spoken. People had pretty much tried to convince me that you can't beat a second degree murder charge. The words that I had come to hear over and over was that it was an impossibility. Well these attorneys did the impossible. Jury trial that ended in NOT GUILTY verdict. Forever grateful my family is all put back together again.

I recently had to hire an attorney to defend me in a case that I needed disposed of very quickly for employment purposes. I made quite a few phone calls to a number of attorneys but none made me as comfortable and confident as David did during the call. At the consultation David calmly set the goals, outlined the defense strategy, explained the process and set some expectations and likely favorable outcomes. Mr. Knox is very familiar with the Hillsborough county DA's office and knows personally a lot of the decision makers, having previously been a prosecutor there. He had very good examples of previous cases he had worked in the past with favorable outcomes. This helped, since I was extremely stressed out about the situation. Once I hired David he maintained an effective line of communication throughout, was easy to reach, and always returned my calls promptly. One late friday afternoon, a few days after the consultation, David spent a good amount of time with me over the phone when I was getting very anxious regarding this charge...that meant a lot to me. He didn't have to that, it was above and beyond, but it really did help calm me down and get through it. I had a lot on the line. Within 10 days he did exactly what he said he would..the case was dismissed. I couldn't have got a better outcome. I was really impressed with his level of professionalism and how he handled my defense. Hopefully I will not need attorney services in the near future, but in case I do, I know who to call. I will definitely recommend David to anybody looking for a criminal defense attorney.
