Leslie did a great job to win my case if I needed help again I would call her first.

Mr. Menendez represented me on a traffic ticket case. He was very professional throughout and stayed on top of the case, so I didn't have to stress out about. He took care of scheduling the correct type of court date and dealing with a hostile witness. When it came time to have the hearing Mr. Menendez met with me, and listened to what I had to say about the incident. He explained the law to me and what our strategy was for the hearing. When we got to the hearing, it was clear he was prepared. He had cases to argue in my defense, and he knew who to talk to and look for to get the information needed. My case was quickly called and dismissed before I could even get up to the podium. I would definitely recommend hiring Mr. Menendez.

This was my first time fighting a ticket, and I definitely picked the right law firm to represent my son's case. Jason did a great job explaining the likely outcomes based on his experience with hundreds of cases at the Plant City court. He told me that we didn't have to do anything; he would take care of everything. He did. ..no ticket and no points for a following to closely ticket related to a rear end accident which was definitely my son's fault. If I ever get into any legal trouble again I know my first call will be to Mrs. Sammis. She won my case even after the State Prosecutor threw a couple curve balls. Let me tell you, she didnt care what they threw at her, she knocked it out of the park. Even after a few dirty tricks by the State Prosecutors, Leslie was able to get my case thrown out completely! One of the coolest things about Leslie was that she gave me the time of day. I never felt as though I was bothering her. Anytime I had a question or concern she was always available. I highly recommend anyone seeking legal advice or representation to give her a call.

This was second time Leslie managed to obtain my freedom in under a year. I was on my fourth violation of probation on three felonies, and in front of the harshest judge in all of Hillsborough County after violating house arrest. Miraculously, she managed to get 10 years of probation terminated while i was sitting in jail looking at a minimum of 5 years prison - if I was lucky. It may not happen for everyone, but, I'm friends with someone in a similar situation her firm was also able to help out in a big way. They deserve the highest praise and respect. Leslie and her whole team do a fantastic job. I am an attorney myself but leave areas outside of my line of work to the experts. Leslie and her team are thorough, communicative, and drive great results. Leslie got a great result for me. She was able to get the ticket against me dropped entirely. If you need criminal or traffic defense assistance, I would most definitely recommend hiring Leslie.

I don’t usually write reviews, but wanted to express my gratitude to Leslie Sammis for what she recently did for my son in regards to the handling of his DUI case. To say this was an unusual and complex case would be putting it lightly. He was cited for 2nd DUI while on a violation of probation from the 1st DUI from several years ago. When we came to Leslie he had already plead guilty to the 2nd DUI even though he was below the legal limit (yes, it’s a long story). She took the case as she believed in my son, realizing he made a very bad mistake that could affect his life. You could tell she took personal interest in his well-being ...and also admonished him to start making better decisions (which I appreciated as a Mom) !! She is kind and caring, but also tough. She listened to us, answered our questions, kept us informed, dug, probed and made sure she had the complete and full picture of the situation at hand so she could give him the best representation possible. Leslie and her team know the law and the nuances of prosecutors/judge that were involved (very important). She cited cases & circumstances that occurred that would back up the reversal of his guilty plea and she was ready to fight this to trial to get the plea reversed and charges reduced. Due to her preparedness, tenacity and passion, she was able to get the prosecutor to lower the charges to “reckless driving” even though they had refused to do so in the past. Let me start out by saying that hiring this law firm was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my life. I hired this law firm because of their great reviews online so now I want to share my experience so fellow google users don't fall into the same trap that I did. In short, I would have been better off pleading guilty from the get go than spending the very high rate that the Sammis law firm charges for their services. To make matters even worse this firm also sent all of my personally identifiable information to the wrong person not once, not twice, but 4-5 times. So along with my awful end to the case and the huge pile of bills most of which coming from this firm, I now also have to worry about someone stealing my identity. As a business and business owners, they should be embarrassed by how their office is operating. If you're looking for a criminal attorney in tampa, there are way better and cheaper firms in the area who will actually do there do diligence and not make repeated mistakes.
