Diane Zuckerman was referred to my by a lawyer friend who gave her his highest recommendation. I engaged Diane to help me with my mother's estate, will, HCPOA, etc. a number of years ago. Even though I live in Ohio and Diane is based in Tampa, near my mother, the distance factor never effected our relationship, her responsiveness, the quality of her work product, or our ability to work together. Diane reviewed and updated all of my mother's estate and related documents and kept them current with Florida law and legal practice for many years. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Diane. I called Diane about help interpreting a will and she took the time to not only explain the different parts of the legal document and how this effected how the will was governed but offered suggestions and options for dealing with my unique situation and the challenge I was trying to work through. In addition, Diane was ready to offer introductions to others locally that could be helpful in resolving the issues I was trying to address. The law is so complicated and Diane was able to take the time to clearly answer my questions in a language that was easy for me to understand. She was also compassionate regarding my situation as I imagine most of these situations are very sensitive in nature. I will be moving my mother to a Memory Care facility soon and have had many questions about the road I have ahead. My elderly parents live in Florida and my husband and I were down from Maine to help them sell a piece of property. We returned to Maine thinking everything was ready to move to closing but got a call from the title company that there was a problem with probate. After trying to work with one lawyer who turned out to be quite unpleasant and unhelpful, we found Ms. Zuckerman. What a difference from the previous lawyer. She was personable, helpful, understanding, patient, accessable (she gave me her cell phone number) and involved. The case turned out to be more difficult than anyone expected but that's when Diane really went to work. Even though I live in another state, Diane always kept me involved and informed. Her paralegal, Chris, was just another plus in the process. Kind, courteous, effecient, he added to the feeling of a team that we had put together with Diane. I can't say enough good about how Diane handled this difficult case, always going the extra mile. She was so considerate of my 90 year old father, going to his home when papers needed to be signed and even picking him up for the court date so he wouldnt have to drive himself downtown. Being so far away, she put my mind at ease that my parents were being well taken care of. Diane is a principled, talented, hardworking, no-nonsense person and it was my pleasure to work with her.

Truly an amazing experience with attorney Diane Zuckerman. Trying to get power of attorney from my daughter in jail, to find out my daughter was not in the jail,but had been sent to facility for treatment. The jail missed informed us as to were the facility were my daughter wa.s in. This was the amazing part Diane Zuckerman whent to 3 different facilities assisting me in finding my daughter, not giving up since the system had miss informed us as to were my daughter was. Evan after several hours running all over Tampa trying to find the location were my daughter was. Her constant support was with me constantly reassuring me that we will find my daughter, Wow! she was so professional, and caring. I can't thank her enough. Not only the she find out were my daughter was, she travel along way out of Tampa to the correct facility were my daughter was, but proceeded to get the get the power of attorney taken care of. Can't say enough of how Diane Zuckerman, she took a crazy situation, and turned it around by taking control, and most important never giving up until the job that needed to get done got done.

After the abrupt passing of my Husband, our family found ourselves in a very strange and foreign situation. Since my husband's death was unexpected and quick we had no wills nor did we prepare one because we weren't expecting him to pass so suddenly. Despite the shock, we started to gather documents and examine our financial situation. We hoped to quickly sell our home, however, we could not because our family home was only in his name. We were told that we needed to go through "probate" a term completely foreign to us. We heard disparaging stories of probate courts taking months to complete. So we began our search of lawyers. Based on Ms. Zuckerman, Diane's, reviews as well as lawyers in the area we chose to vet her and a few other lawyers. Most of the prices were relatively around the same price to take on our probate case. However, the choice between Diane and the others was easy just because of a few essential points. For one she took the time to not only discuss a clear cut strategy to make sure the probate process would go quickly but she also took the time to discuss other issues such as debt, car titles etc, that our extremely relative when someone passes. NOT ONE other lawyer took the time to ensure that I didn't make any critical errors that could put even more financial burden on me. Things which are not common knowledge to non-laywers, and we discussed them at the free consultation with no guarantee of me choosing her as my lawyer. Every other lawyer discussed the flat fee for the probate case and that was it. I felt like at my worst time of my life I had a close family member assist me with the handling of issues that honestly needed to be addressed immediately but If I could I'd ignore until I had properly mourned. I can't say enough good things about Diane our probate process took much less time than I expected and ended up in my favor. Also one really simple thing that made me finalize the decision to choose Diane to handle my case. Was something else she was the only one that took the time to say I'm sorry for your loss, I knew it was from a good place and that she would put her all to fight for me on my behalf. Choose a lawyer that not only has expertise in this field but also takes the time to evaluate your situation as a whole and not just the one issue that you bring to her.
