During a very hard time for our son, Russell Prince stepped up and said I can help. After talking to a few lawyers and being passed along a few times we finally landed in his hands. I sent an email and he emailed back right away from LONDON and said call me tomorrow at this time and we will talk. I called and sure enough, he was in London, England. He talked me through everything, had a lot of questions and gave a lot of info. He then said, let me talk to my partner and get back to the states and we will talk again. As a mom I was very upset and afraid for my son. We knew the allegations were false, but to sit there staring at the fact that in SafeSports eyes he is guilty until we can prove otherwise. There is no worse feeling. We had already been waiting 6 months to find out what next steps were. SafeSport had us just waiting and waiting, no real communication. When I would inquire, I would get we are in the process. Russell got back to the states, we had another call. He had a lot more questions. He asked for me to send him emails, etc. After another very long call he said rather you hire me or not this is what you need to do. So as we talked through what hiring him looked like we discussed it as a family and my son said I want him. He was only 13, but he liked what I had relayed that Russell said and he said he felt like he had his back and was going to give him a voice and that he believed him. So our journey started. It was a long one, but not as long as others have endeared. But I say that is because we had the BEST lawyer you can get when you are in this situation. I loved how he kept us up to day, how he interacted with our son and gave him a voice, and how he handled the investigator interview when we had to go through that. And to this day he keeps in touch with us, he has our sons best interest at heart. He checks in on him. He told us, he is not just walking away...if we have an issue in 6 months or a year or more due to this to reach out. If you need the best lawyers to handle a SafeSport issues...these are your guys.
