Due to unforeseen circumstances it became quite evident that the attorney assigned to us by our adoption agency was not going to be able to support us competently. We ended up in a very tough situation and had to go before a judge multiple times. Our attorney's superior knowledge and application of Florida adoption law consistently procured positive judgements in our favor and brought our adoption to a successful finalization. After 18 months of litigation our family is complete and that which would have ended in devastating heart break came to a conclusion of joy and love. As a foster parent, I was very new to the adoption proceedings of Hillsborough county. Luckily for me, when handed the adoption packet by my child’s case management agency, I realized Jeanne Tate’s firm was listed as an option for me to use, and I was IMMEDIATELY relieved. Erica is a wonderful attorney, and more importantly- she was a great friend/supporter to me throughout the entirety of the case. She was able to assist in allowing my written “mom vows” to be read aloud in court, (not without bawling my eyes out of course,) but it was monumental in my experience with adopting my son. I love that this experience touched everyone involved, but the way my feelings about all of this were felt by Erica and Theresa speaks volumes about their authenticity in what they do. I can’t speak highly enough about the Tate family/practice and their passion for creating families and happily ever afters. Our experience was amazing from start to finish, Erica helped us every step of the way explaining everything in detail and keeping me constantly updated! We thought the adoption process would take a lot longer so we were surprised it was only a couple of months and our daughter was a LoDolce like the rest of us!! I highly recommend this firm!!!
