I was convicted three years ago of actions I took to save the lives of thirty-six of my men in Afghanistan. They were illegal, but necessary in 2014. Ultimately, the Govt threatened to go after my wife if I did not plead guilty, so I did - in exchange for a letter that ensured my wife was safe. The plea was entered in Tampa Federal Court. After a short time in prison and on probation, I sought an early release. I approached about twelve different law firms in the area seeking assistance. Not one responded. Finally, I came across the Law Office of Mark O'Brien. Not only were they responsive, they stayed ON IT - working with the USG and Probation. They were communicative, respectful, and thorough. I cannot tell you how happy I was to see that approved motion for early release come into my email. I hope I never have to use the O'Brien Law Firm again, but God Forbid if I ever need a defense attorney, this will be my first phone call.
