I spoke with a Woman there, who was supposed to be a paralegal. I was told I probably had a case for my inquiry...and was connected with a 'Finance' Guy..who said it would be $5000 for a retainer, which was translated by 20 hours @$250/hr. I was doing research online about them, and found many complaints about the wording of the retainer...which seemed to be whether they spent 15 minutes resolving ones issue or 20 hours, the $5000 retainer becomes theirs. I told the 'Finance' Guy it was too much and said I was not interested in hiring them and hung up.
I received a Invoice from them for $37.86. I complained to the BBB.org. who sent them a request for comment. They responded saying if I downloaded some document and signed and returned it..then they would be satisfied. I rejected that response, since I did not hire them or enter any agreement with them, so I could just imagine what downloading or signing anything would or could lead to.
This Organization is SHADY to say the least. I thought I crossed the T's and dotted the I's by not engaging with these people. I suppose the $37.86 is to rake in money by assuming people will just send them the small amount to make them go away. I just received a follow-up from "Ironclad Law LLC" threatening to report to the Credit Agencies that I am delinquent with my payment.
I have also contacted the Florida State Attorney Generals Office, and they will be watching how this plays out...I was told if they did get information from the dark web for nefarious purposes, they will prosecute. I was given the Florida Bar Association contact information for further action if this persists.
Watch out!!! These people are Con Artists that will try to extract money from unsuspecting consumers...Beware. Forewarned is best prepared.

All the last months review are nothing but accurate. They will chase you down to receive your money and once you pay they won’t contact you at all. All you can do is schedule a meeting with a front desk person and vent your problems. She’ll let you know that she’s going to let them know so they can contact you and then you’ll repeat the process again. I wish I would have read the reviews before paying them.

I hired MAH in September 2023 and terminated the agreement 5 weeks later. Communication was lacking. Ops manager told me not to schedule any more appointments because the attorney didnt have anything to tell me.
11 mo later i have a $3000 debt in collections. Nobody has told me what its for. Attorney refused to participate in fee dispute arbitration with Florida Bar. Mr Hɓurckes should do the right thing and remove this "debt" from collections. It is in dispute now but you can fix this. You asked for $3000 for your "availability" but you were not available

The level of neglect I have not seen in 25 years of working with lawyers from hundreds of firms!
I am expressing my extreme dissatisfaction with your firm's services regarding the case you agreed to take regarding canceling an eviction case and reversing my foreclosure. I entered this agreement under the clear understanding that your firm could help me achieve two critical goals: preventing my eviction and reversing the foreclosure of my home. I probably gleaned these expectations from your office paralegal and I had no reason to believe otherwise. I have spoken to her once, and she was very nice. However, no matter how nice in any professional setting, with so much at stake, managing client expectations is paramount, not taking the money and then seeing 3 months later if you can help or should let this customer go. If your firm could not assist me, I should have been informed immediately, not three weeks before the eviction hearing. This lack of transparency has caused unnecessary stress, pain, and hardship since I could not obtain counsel and lost my case since MAH refuses to refund me even after I told them the plaintiff's attorney called 2 days earlier asking if I was represented I said yes and I had submitted documents to MAH advisors the day after I signed on and paid. those contact numbers were clear and adding ‘URGENT PLEASE CONTACT’ on the email with expressed urgency. This was ignored AND MAH advisors DID NOT EVEN REGISTER AS MY COUNSEL, which you can easily do online which is so basic it seems. This is the last mistake they made and I fired them. MORE errors early on where communication is critical as the hearing approaches as I wrote to them to correct. They did not. Furthermore, there is a complete absence of any documented progress on my case. Despite my repeated attempts to reach someone via phone and email, my calls have been unanswered, messages unreturned, and emails unreplied or with generic ‘received’ responses demonstrating a clear lack of regard for the situation's urgency. Emails sent between May 15 and 18, 2024, bounced back with no delivery confirmation, and further attempts to reach someone by phone were unsuccessful.
As a senior citizen with a disability, facing potential homelessness is a terrifying prospect in the home I have enjoyed for 20 years. MAH Advisors' inaction has placed me at significant risk. After 3 letters and no reply, the court will be in contact. Given the complete lack of service, I demand a full refund of any and all fees paid to your firm. I will not be bullied into paying additional fees to your firm paperwork as there was a breach in the ‘advisory’ part of the firm's name nor will I pay any associated third party. The hearing on July 25th, 2024 necessitated immediate action. I could not find legal representation I will also ask the court to monetize Pain and suffering. MAH Advisors have exacerbated an already difficult situation I am beside myself with grief and disappointment and now contempt as I hold MAH Advisors responsible. If I had any doubt, I look back and remember that the reviews were important in choosing a lawyer and since they had good reviews, I hired MAH Advisors, even though they were located in another city. A month or 2 later I was surprised out of the blue I got a reply from an associate from the firm from a message I sent. She was told to call me but knew nothing about my case she said she would ask someone to call me but no one did. But I DID LET HER KNOW I was following up. She answered after asking me to ‘hold’ that ‘someone from the case will need to call me Monday(it was Friday) the appointment date set up earlier in the previous week. I said ok then she brought up a ‘Friday Special’ that MAH Advisors president Mr.Hurckles is offering a $25.00 gift card to write a good review about the firm. To me, it is dishonest & unethical to falsely use reviews in this manner, causing me unrepairable harm. I have a matter of days left till I am thrown on the street after 20 years in my home. Wish me luck
