I had a consultation with Ms. Diaz Shafer where she informed me that it would not be in my friend's best interest to retain her services as she would not be able to help her. She took her time to explain what they should do. I knew we could trust her opinion because she is board certified in immigration. Unfortunately my friend was desperate and hired another attorney who charged her thousands of dollars and in the end did nothing for her. Ms. Diaz Shafer's acted with integrity when she resisted the temptation to take advantage of my friend's desperate situation, unlike the other attorney she ended up hiring. If another immigration issue should arise, I would certainly schedule another consultation with her without any hesitation.
