I only have 1 star because it was the only way I could leave a review. Ms. Seward was hired in September 2019 to assist with landlord/tenant dispute regarding a mold situation I had with a previous apartment complex. After the initial consultation, she was retained. It took her over a month to even start my case. The lack of communication, lack of professionalism and lack of ethics she and her staff demonstrated was unacceptable. I was charged an unreasonable amount of money for work that I basically completed myself. Now I'm stuck handling the case myself. Please do your research prior to hiring any attorney.

My landlord refused to refund my deposit. I hired Seward Law to assist me. Alicia and her team were always prompt and professional. With their help I received a full refund. I highly recommend Seward Law and I will use them again.

YOU GUYS!! I went to a consultation with Alicia SO confused and scared, and could not have left with more knowledge and confidence. After a month of battling with a suddenly rude and aggressive landlord, just an hour with Alicia helped me find a game plan to feel safe and confident in my family’s next move. I could not be more satisfied with her services. She was understanding, empathetic, professional and knowledgeable. I not only feel like we have a handle on the current dreadful situation with our landlord, but I gained understanding of what to do in the future should we ever have any issues again. Alicia and Seward Law was there for me when I had no where to turn. When life put me down Seward Law was always an email away. I had mold in my apartment and she got the settlement that was best for me. Always professional and very honest. Will recommend.

I went to Alicia Seward regarding a rental/tenant issue that I was involved with recently. Alicia was very engaged and extremely knowledgeable on the steps thst I needed to take to rectify this situation. Needless to say after taking her advice the problem was fixed immediately. I just wanted to say a few words about Seward Law Office and the staff. I fell behind on my rent. Completely my own fault. The office where i live said to me...you too late .. there is nothing you can do.. You are being evicted. I was stressed more than i have ever been in my life. I found Seward Law office on google and contacted them. With their help I was able to postpone the eviction.. gather the back rent i owed and paid it in full. The staff was incredibly nice. If you need the kind of help like i did.. please call them and talk to them. Without their help i would have lost my home. Good luck to anyone who is in the position that i was in.. and thank you from the bottom.. top.. sides.. back and front of my heart..Thank you Seward Law!!!

Alicia is the worst and most incompetent lawyer I have ever met. Not only did she show up to our mediation completely unprepared without knowing anything we had told her, she made promises to file an amendment to push the court date and never did, and then never communicated with us about it and we missed our hearing. Naturally, we were upset, so instead of fixing it, so she withdrew from the case. If you want to waste your time and money with a completely inexperienced lawyer, hire Alicia. If I could 0 stars, I would.

Shop around! Wasn’t the worst but definitely not the most professional.
