Ms. Davis represented me in a difficult divorce. My situation was complicated because my husband runs his own business, but Ms. Davis was with me every step of the way. She was always well prepared and knowledgeable. She and her staff were available to speak with me whenever I had questions. Susan was especially helpful. I was happy with with the outcome for myself and my 2 boys. While it is difficult to go through a divorce, Ms. Davis and her team were always there to protect me with getting a fair financial outcome. My children still have a good relationship with their dad and I am happy about that. I highly recommend The Women's Law Group and Ms. Davis.

I highly recommend Lara and The Women's Law Group. Lara represented me in a Collaborative Divorce. I hired Lara for what I thought was a simple uncontested divorce and child custody settlement. My case ended up becoming complicated due to multiple issues and challenges with the opposing party. While the case took longer to close than expected, Lara and her staff worked diligently to get things wrapped up quickly and kept me well informed as to why there were so many delays. I never felt that she purposely delayed the case to increase her billable hours. I was not billed for scheduling difficulties between her and opposing counsel. I would highly recommend Lara and her group for complicated child support and divorce cases!

A simple case that should be wrapped up from beginning to end in a couple of months takes a half a year and counting. Everything is run through her paralegal. Paperwork and communications take between the client and opposing attorneys or individuals takes a substantially long time. Unfornutely, since this attorney has a very difficult time managing her time she charges you for it. She will advise you strongly to go against your gut feeling and makes a divorce worse all to keep increasing her fees, and her fees are substantial. I wonder is this fraudulent? Is this unethical? No matter what your thoughts are I would stay clear. There are plenty of other attorneys that will have high fees but will close your case sooner!!
