I recently had to evict a long term boyfriend from my home. I was not sure where to turn, I turned to google and came up more than once with this law office. A warm and kind voice came over the phone. Her name was Mary Jo and she gave me a sympathetic ear and much needed advice/information to start my process. Ii was helpful and has worked out and I cannot thank the office enough.

Not sure how these folks get the rating they are getting. Please do not hire these folks unless you're ready to waste your money.

use the "sort by lowest ratings" button. That will give you the true understanding of what a fraud this guy is. Great trick how they create these great surveys to hide all the others exposing the fraud coming out of this law firm. Just read them for yourself, thank god for the sort button.....this Hachey is something else. I have found a couple of you on face book and as I explained to both of you...If I don't get reimbursed by June 15th, I will keep my word to you on how we will move forward to expose the fraud. I contacted Mr. Hachey's office several weeks ago. The woman who answered the phone was courteous and helpful. I explained the nature of my call and request to which she responded that was something they could do in a relatively quick manner. She sent the link for the appropriate paperwork and on-line payment. Upon completing the paperwork, I had one question (regarding the form) and filled out their on-line contact request with my contact information. I (then) sent both the paperwork, payment and question to their attention. Nobody from the office ever contacted me. However, they did process our payment. More than 2 weeks pass, and I have yet to receive a status quo or follow up call from this office. I sent another email note. Still no response, so I placed a live call. Someone finally contacted me, a woman who had the personality of a cold fish in an Alaskan river. In her conversation with me, I am provided the following excuses ... She was on vacation and just received our request (they took payment 2 weeks ago), she is trying to re-enter after vacation (?), the person who took my request is no longer with them ... but, she then explains she going to talk to that person to ensure they understand services they can and cannot perform (huh?) and finally ... they will process a refund. What kind of law firm is this? Clearly a lack of communication, follow-up and (lastly) a person who is void of any polish or personality to deal with the public. Typically, I don't leave negative reviews, preferring to focus on the positive versus the negative. However, based upon my personal experience, I would not recommend this law firm.

I called the Law Offices of Stephen K. Hachey seeking an experienced real estate attorney for advice on a partition action. After my initial consultation with Mr. Hachey and using his advice, I was able to convince the opposing party to quitclaim deed the property to Father .

Steven was very responsive and absolutely transparent.
