Stephen Law office is the best PERIOD. This is the sort of person you want in your corner. Stephen helped me legally and then helped me sell the same house. Stephen understands the law, was willing to answer any questions we had, and was not afraid to negotiate when he had too. Stephen is on a whole different level when its comes to lawyers. I can't say enough about how pleased I am to have had David Hurvitz represent me. His wonderful service started with his initial consultation. First of all, he was always willing to drive out to where I was for our meetings. He actually listened to me, and then explained what the process would be like very thoroughly. He wrote out a time line so I could know and understand what to expect during the length of the case. His pricing was extremely reasonable. He also reassured me from day one that we would have a positive outcome... and we did. My case was very important and personal for me, as it had to deal with the safety and well-being of my children. David always demonstrated that the case was just as important for him as well. He once said that he treats every case as his only case. It took almost 2 years before my case came to an end. During the process I would sometimes get nervous or upset about what the opposing party or opposing counsel was trying to do, but David was always reassuring. He was certain we would have a positive outcome, and he always told me what to expect along every step of the way. He knew how important this was for me, and treated the matter with the same importance. Before contracting David, I spoke to other attorneys, and all were very disappointing. They would tell me that the outcome I wanted was impossible, the entire consultation would just basically be the lawyer self-promoting himself, and they seemed to have the habit of speaking to their clients in a very condescending manner. David was so different. A good, honest, respectful, empathetic and caring lawyer. I have, and will continue to recommend David Hurvitz as an attorney. He is very knowledgeable about the law, the court processes, judges, and paperwork. He always communicated everything in a timely manner with lots of attention to detail. He was present and on time for every court date, and always did his best to help me feel safe and comfortable (my case also involved domestic violence, so he would request separate rooms for mediation, and that I would be allowed to leave court earlier in order to avoid being followed, etc). He is familiar with the courts of the area, as well as the judges. He definitely knows his stuff. David always sent updated statements of legal services rendered, so that I could see itemized details. He was very fair in this regard as well. He made every single case document available to me. He would even send me the documents before submitting so that I could approve them first. He always explained and clarified any questions or doubts that I would have. It was always easy to reach him for communication via email, text, or phone call. He knew and understood that the most important part of this case was my children and their safety, and his representation ensured this. I am so thankful to have had David work on my case. David Hurvitz, Esq Attorney at Law handled a case for my daughter and I, that began in December of 2010. It was a highly emotional issue that involved physical aggression, controlling and emotional abuse, intimidation, stalking, and domestic violence. Mr Hurvitz successfully navigated through all of this, never doubting the word of my daughter, witnesses, and friends. Even through court ordered psychological interviews and tests, numerous court appearances, and the involvement of Family Services, Mr Hurvitz was able to eliminate the domestic violence from our lives, and equip us with the knowledge to prevent this from reoccurring. Mr Hurvitz volunteered to be involved with this case until my daughter turns 18. She was 13 when all this started, and will be 18 in a little over a year.
