For starters, like most people, I am usually only inclined to leave a review regarding a negative experience that could inform others of it. But I do have to say that I am taking this time to leave this review because the AWESOME attorney, Susan Chesnutt, and her staff definitely deserve five stars. If there were more stars I could click on, I would! The moment I contacted her office, I immediately could tell the professionalism of her staff. They made it easy to schedule a consultation, and communications were fast, accurate, and most importantly, very convenient. On the day of my consultation with Susan, I encountered some difficulties for which Susan was very understanding and provided swift and efficient solutions. While talking to her, I could tell she was very knowledgeable and passionate about her career. After the consultation, I felt confident and knew what the next step would be. Knowing that Susan would be available to answer my questions was a huge relief because going through the court system sometimes can be a little scary for some. Susan and her team were there to answer any questions I had about the divorce process. They listened to me and pushed for things I wanted and backed off when I asked. At no point did I not feel that I was in control. That was important to make this unfortunate situation go as smooth as it could.

Well, it’s been quite some time since my divorce has finalized, & I wanted to take some time to not only process the beginning, middle, and end of the divorce before writing a review. Also, based on how I feel it being all said and done for a while. As everyone knows, divorce is an emotional thing. It’s physically and mentally daunting. I had Susan and her team in my corner. I’ve had moments where I’ve cried, vented, and shared several concerns. Susan was good about encouraging me to take care of things that she knew I could on my own, and helped me with things I had no idea to consider. It was the beginning of the confidence I gained & needed to know that I’m strong, going to be ok, and most importantly-don’t ever sell yourself short. The team may of been hired for a job, but I ended up gaining a group of fine young women that built me up, kept believing in me, and can now call them friends. They continue to support and encourage me through this next phase of my life.

Chesnutt law firm was a great experience. Going through a life change was difficult in itself but having an attorney that was well versed it family law was priceless. Mrs Chesnutt handled many situations in a professional manner and helped me get through my divorce in a way no one else could. On a scale of 1-10, Brian Connelly is a 12. For most of us, the legal system is an incomprehensible labyrinth. Brian knows how to navigate that system. More importantly, he knows how to make the legal system work for your benefit. Beneath his relaxed demeanor is a sharp mind and a shrewd negotiator. In my case, he negotiated a settlement that was twice what I expected. It doesn’t get any better than that.
