Called my spouse and I at 8:30PM with more energy than we were prepared for, to reluctantly ask us if we were interested in hiring him to handle probate and litigation, asked if we had any questions (sorry it’s 8:30, everyone is half asleep no we don’t currently have any questions) so he follows with, “okay goodnight” and hung up the phone. He follows up with an email saying “I’ll pass”. This “gentleman” did not give a reason as to why when he was asked in a responding email. It took us over a month I want to say pretty close to 2, for us to be told “I’ll pass.” The $XXX amount at stake is more than enough for any attorney to jump on. But us not even getting a response as to why passing the opportunity, is just down right rude. At least telling us why, would give us some insight on where everything is standing right now.

John Pankauski stated he would accept a case and then wrote an email two minutes later stating "I'll pass" with no explanation. Arrogant and abrasive character with a total lack of professionalism.

Looking for the easy straight forward work.

I feel confident referring clients to Andrew Kwan and the team at Pankauski law firm knowing they will be given an honest assessment of their case, represented ardently, and treated with respect.

After an initial consultation by phone I was told my case would require a sizeable retainer. I agreed and said I would work on securing the money. There were several emails initiated by Pankauski Hauser that included language like "John has no problem suing….and our firm would certainly owe all duties of loyality to you...", " [Partner] recommends we begin our investigation as soon as possible... Once we are hired,...we will be able to schedule a meeting." "...please feel free to let us know if you decide to retain us." I answered, "I do intend on retaining your services, however I do need to secure the $XX,000.00 retainer first." I said it would be August (the following month) before the funds were available and Mr. Pankauski said to call him then. I secured the funds, I called Mr. Pankauski and he declined to represent me. I think I was misled. You decide.

Top notch firm. Attorney Alex Briggs and Kerry Hyde have been great in handling of all my concerns. They are quick in responses and very courteous. Strongly recommend.

I have known John Pankauski for 25+ years both personally and professionally, and I trust him with referrals of my own clients because I know he will deliver.
