I do not recommend this firm for guardianship matters. They only provide services for the initial guardianship petition and then they withdraw as counsel, and you must find another law firm for on-going guardianship legal needs. Their initial work had issues and after they had withdrawn, I discovered they left open items that required additional filings and orders.

Shalloway and Shalloway went above and beyond helping my grandmother. I’m extremely grateful for the services they provided.

All I can say is are we ever lucky to have found Shalloway & Shalloway. The firm is co-trustee, overseeing a special needs trust for my elderly disabled sister. They're life savers. I can't thank them enough.

It’s not cheap but this is the firm to go to when planning for elder care in Florida. And in the end the expense will be saved by the plans put in place. We initially had a consultation with Mark Shalloway who took us through the process in a free consultation. He even gave us references, all of whom vouched for the firm and their work- including other lawyers who refer their own clients to his firm when needed. We then worked with a number of the staff and with Brooke, an amazing attorney, to put the documents together. My father previously had a living trust but as he is getting older he needed to revise his plans. We now have everything set up and if he, in the future needs Medicaid, we are all set for him to apply. What I love about the firm is they have people who will help file the medicaid application and walk you through the process from start to finish. We decided to do this now before my father even needs Medicaid or needs other things in place. It is well worth the money to have everything set up and planned in advance of a crises. My dad does not have a lot of assets but I couldn’t even think how we would have handled this without Brooke, Mark and all the firm. Special shout out to Rebecca who was our initial point of contact and Natalie one of the case managers. Responsive and caring are the two hallmarks of everyone at the firm.

Mark- I want to express our great experience with your team at Shalloway and shalloway. This has been and eye opening experience to say the least. Brooke was amazing on dealing with the multiple meetings AND multiple people involved with our project. Then after we felt the wording was what we wanted, Lina took over and guided us through the signing process. Everyone was professional and to the point. Everyone was proficient and stayed in their own wheelhouse. Thank you to the professional attitude of your office staff. We did not feel rushed or pressured one way or another during the entire process.

Shalloway & Shalloway, PA is a best in class elder law firm with unique expertise in guiding clients through the Medicaid approval process. No firm in South Florida is better. My mother recently passed away, but the last few years of her life were enhanced by enrolling in Medicaid and receiving the level of care she needed for her limited ADLs.
