Ware has now represented/advised me on 4 different legal matters, and two of them were not a formal engagement, but just reflective of his hidden compassion, whereas he never asked for a penny for his attentive help to educate my engaged attorney’s that only focused on billing! Ware has responded to messages during the early hours to quell my fears! Or his generosity of his off hours, by taking time on a Sunday, or while vacationing in the keys with limited cell service to address my concerns, that no attorney of his caliber would ever do, especially after 40+ years of private practice! He will try to and states that he keeps the emotions out of his process, and that he cant take an emotional stake in my cases, and he adamantly sticks to the rule of law, but his generosity of his time and help in cases that he has no financial interest in suggests otherwise. I have unfortunately had to engage 8 lawyers over the last 6 years, and his professionalism and his understated genuine hidden nature to protect and nurture his clients is a quality that reveals itself over the years. He genuinely cares to the accuracy and legal adherence to the rule of law and is beyond generous with his time! His assistant “Brittne” is so sweet, compassionate and reflects Wares’s core values.. in my opinion” integrity, honesty, caring compassionate advocate of my rights” I have not been 100% successful in all the matters that was represented for me. But if you want to have an attorney that is so brilliant and detailed and attentive, then Mr Cornell is the only lawyer you should consider. His is unlike any attorney I have ever engaged and if you want representation by the “shark” whereas all other attorneys swim in his pond!

We met regarding a labor case involving my employer and an ongoing Disablity discrimination and retaliatory harassment case. Even though we have not formally filed any charges because of special reasons, he already knows what he has to do to reduce expenses and get the end result we would like to see. He has measured the cons against the pros and gave his opinion based on what he knows about my employer and the type of courts we have here in Florida. My impression is that He is very knowledgeable and a matter of fact which I value in a lawyer. I appreciated his honesty even if it was not information I wants to hear. He offered his expertise opinion on how to deal with the case which was a wait and see after I am fired. Even though I’m not happy with having to continue to be harassed and the hostile working conditions I am being subjected to, I know that he will be the best to represent me because he has a plan in place. Immediately after my consultation, I provided over 700 pages of my evidence to him and with a small consultant fee he reviewed it over several weeks. He then scheduled me a few weeks later to discuss the plan and the pros and cons of my case. He did not charge a second consult fee and advised me of the approximate amount it would cost me to hire him for arbitration. He already knows the direction my case will have and what he needs to do. Based on this I feel he is competent and trustworthy. I am confident that he will deliver when the time comes. If you want to consult with an expert labor attorney please do not hesitate to meet with him and get the opinion of a true specialty attorney.

I met with Ware when he was recommended by a friend. I liked him right away, and I hired him. It was my first time hiring an attorney, and I should have asked him more questions to understand his work style. But I liked him and trusted my friend's recommendation. I would have been happier working with an organized, strategic planner. If I had received a phone call or email every couple of months with an update on my case, that would have been better. Had Ware spelled out the specifics of my financial obligations to him up front instead of sending me seemingly random and sporadic invoices, I would have trusted him more. But what really bothered me is that Ware took away ownership of my case. I told him I wanted to be at all the depositions for my case, but instead he held them without my knowledge. He did not consult with me to learn details that these depositions could have brought to light. I never heard from him after depositions with a summary of what took place. As I see it, this was my case, and Ware was there to help me, but he seemed to think I had little role in it. In the end, the real value of my case was over 200K less than his original estimate. When did he break this news to me? On the morning before the final mediation. It's been two years since my case concluded, and I waited to write this review because I wanted to see if time would soften my perspective. In the past two years, I've gotten to know dozens of attorneys through my current job, and have a clearer picture of attorneys can potentially operate. They can be organized. They can be transparent communicators. They can keep their clients in the loop. But Ware doesn't.

took $3500.00 then withdraws without ever doing sufficent work to respond to pending motions used for age discrimination case. this caused me to have a $600.00 judgment against me. When asked if they would fix the situation they just said I should pay the money.

I have worked with Mr. G. Ware Cornell on several occasions when my company retained his services. It was always a stellar and professional experience. His knowledge of employment law is beyond compare. He is practical, straight forward and is very responsive to the client’s needs. Mr. Cornell assesses the case, explains the pros and cons and discusses the options. He always has your best interests in mind. He keeps you informed and anytime I phoned or emailed him I always received a response that day or the next. I also felt that our legal issues were always a priority. Mr. Cornell is a caring, competent attorney who will go the extra mile for his clients to see that they receive the best representation possible. I highly recommend G. Ware Cornell!

WIth pleasure I write this review of G. Ware Cornell. I was referred to Ware when I began to be harassed by an employer for reporting a harassment issue. I reported the claim to the HR department of a large company as I was obligated to due by law. Initially, I trusted the HR department would do what they are legally and morally obligated to do in such a case. When they didn't and began to harass me for reporting the claim, I contacted Ware. Ware was very competent and attentive. He answered my numerous questions and was available whenever I needed him. He was so good, in fact, it was obvious his skill level and reputation intimidated his opponents. It lightened my burden and stress to see him in action. When meeting with opposing counsel, they knew they no longer had control of the situation and I could no longer be bullied. Additionally, I was happy with the settlement. Ware's fees were also very fair, especially since he spent a lot of time working the case. Without Ware, this situation would have been unbearable and there would have been noone to hold the employer accountable for their actions. I saw the negative reivew for Ware and do not believe any of the comments could be reliable based on my experience with him. Since then, I have referred Ware to several other clients and they too received the same kind of experienced and professional care as I. Should you find yourself facing a legal issue with an employer, Ware Cornell is an excellent attorney to have in your corner.

Cornell was referred to us by a close friend. I, as well as so many others, consider him "The Specialist" in his field. He is honest and to the point, no nonsense. We were successful thanks to his guidance and experience. We have and will continue to recommend Cornell to others.

Ware has been my attorney for several years and has handled two different lawsuits for me, one of which is ongoing. He and his staff have always worked tirelessly on my behalf and have always been available when I've needed them and most importantly have always made me feel part of the process. I have sent him emails at 2AM and he has answered them right away. One of my lawsuits was very emotionally charged, and very protracted courtesy of a huge multi-national with deep pockets who did their best to delay my case. They filed dozens of motions and vilified me. Ware and his staff kept me sane, on an even keel and gave me strength to see it through. Ware possesses an encyclopedic mind, is a brilliant tactician and is refreshingly candid and above all, honest. He and his firm are highly ethical and I know are well respected within the legal community. I have referred several people to his firm whom I know were very happy as well.

I've used Ware twice in the last three years and I'm close to hiring him again for a third time. I was involved in a business deal/loan that went south with the economy. The counter party was not honoring his commitment per our contract so I had to take it to the next level. I contacted Ware for guidance and he immediately mastered the issue and had a plan for next steps. We filed and won a judgement for outstanding debt, interest and legal fees totaling over $340k. They have been paying their debt down for the last 3 years and I am now almost whole. The second issue was a little out of his expertise but, he again immediately grasped the issue and helped with next steps. I won't go into this problem as it was more of a personal issue but, with Ware's help, the issue was resolved almost immediately. This time there was no money to win or loose but, rather an end to a disturbing problem. Money well spent. Because of my complete satisfaction from my first two issues, I'm about to hire him for a third. This time it's regarding significant damage to my property resulting from a neighbor's previously damaged tree and a recent afternoon storm which neither his insurance nor mine are willing to step up and take financial responsibility. I have complete confidence Ware will get to the root of the issue and we'll have a successful outcome in short order. I recommended Ware to my girlfriend in her dispute with a former employer in the entertainment industry and once again he came through with an efficient equitable solution for both parties. Ware is very sharp minded and thoughtful and has been a lawyer in South Florida for many years. His wisdom, legal network and expertise is hard to find in especially in South Florida. He is a well known and reputable lawyer and I would recommend him to anyone needing significant legal help/litigation expertise.

Mr. Cornell filed three lawsuits on my behalf involving the same facts and the exact same matter by splitting the defendants. From the onset I requested that Mr. Cornell add all of the responsible parties in one lawsuit. He informed me that legally I could not. Four years later, I would discover from another attorney and a state court judge just the opposite. Legally there should have been only one lawsuit. Mr. Cornell had informed me four years ealier just the opposite. There are basic principles in the law that prohibit and discourage this type behavior. Mr. Cornell ignored the common nucleus-of operative-facts doctrine, defensive collateral estoppel and collateral estoppel during four years of litigation. His actions proved a financial disaster for me, his former client. Mr. Cornell withdrew as counsel after causing this disaster. As a result of his behavior, I incurred an enormous amount of unnecessary legal expenses, court cost and proved a total waste of time.
