During my experience with Attorney's Dell & Schaefer, specifically the attorney that handled my case, Alex Palamara, has been an extremely positive one. Whether it was questions or uncertainties I had pertaining to my case, Alex was always available to answer my questions and keep me up to date, and in the loop. At a time in my life when I've been at my lowest, due to my health and financially unable to support my family, Alex and his team was on my side to extract the funds needed from the life insurance company that, I feel, inaccurately closed my policy without due cause. With obviously no experience in dealing with these life insurance companies in the past, they illegitimately closed my policy several times within a two year period; I was able to appeal their so-called reasoning's they had during this period and have my policy re-opened, being able to keep receiving a monthly check from them, even with the little knowledge/experience I've had. But after that two year period, they sent me a twenty something page termination letter, that included terminology unforeseen by me before and put me at a standstill financially. I had no idea where to turn or what to do, and in response to this obviously well prepared termination letter, that without legal representation I was definitely not seeing any further (expected) compensation from them. Luckily, I came across Alex and his firm, and very luck to have done so! They have delivered upon the goals in which they originally stated they could complete for me without any hesitation, putting me more at ease...and doing it in a timely fashion (with what you can expect in this sort of legal matter). I would obviously/definitely recommend Alex and his team, and sincerely cannot thank them enough!

I have had a fantastic experience working with Steven Dell over the last 3 years. He helped me get my group provided DI policy approved immediately. My individual policy was denied and Steven immediately filed suit against the insurance company for breach of contract. We eventually settled the case during mediation. During this time, Steven was available 7 days a week to answer any questions I had. I had access to Steven at all times via email and personal cell phone. I spoke with Steven many times over the weekend and late evenings. I never felt like I was not able to reach him during the 3 years I worked with him. Steven is extremely knowledgeable and was professional at all times. He knew my case like the back of his hand whenever I spoke with him. Most importantly, Steven was compassionate and caring throughout my entire relationship with him. Best attorney in the industry! I have worked with Greg Dell for the past 10 years. He and his team have been excellent in every way! I was forced to retire early from dentistry due to arthritis in my hands. I had no idea how manipulative the disability carrier could be, and ultimately decided to have Greg help me with my claim. I began suffering from an illness in 2003, with a subsequent decline in my physician’s income. I began seeing a physician for help when my own self-treatment just wasn’t working. I finally decided to file a disability claim in 2005, but was distrustful of insurance companies. So I found Dell & Schaefer by a medical journal add, and made the call. At the time I felt horrible, and struggled to put together my thoughts, but Greg Dell was reassuring and sent me a folder of on-point literature and I new I had made the right decision. The next steps were all under the long-distance guidance from Greg and various other kind and sharp people at the firm. The result was swift payment of both my disability and business overhead policies dating back to my initial point of illness. I was thrilled to have monthly payments which allowed me to resume working under partial disability status, which I did until recently when I just could no longer keep it up and took Greg’s timely advice to recently retire. I’m 58 years old and never dreamed this would happen to me but am so thankful of how much help the firm gave me with my Unum insurance carrier for all those years, especially when issues would inevitably come up. Now I am on full disability with regular monthly payments that keep my lifestyle comfortable and greatly decrease my burden of worry. Even more impressive is that Greg and his firm allowed the carrier to be at their best also, and I can’t believe I’m saying that about an insurance company. If you are on the fence about asking for legal help, do not hesitate to make the call that I did. The hourly fees were extremely fair and service was perfect all the way around (for 13 years now). Don’t try to do this on your own because it just won’t go smoothly, if at all.

After being "on-claim" for 2 years with my long term disability carrier I was notified that my claim had been terminated and that they no longer considered me disabled. After contemplating appealing the claim myself ( and wasting about 2 months of the precious 6 month window to appeal) I turned to Dell & Schaefer. Attorney Cesar Gavidia represented me and masterfully had my benefits restored in quick order and back pay awarded. At that point I felt betrayed and misled by my disability carrier and somewhat by my previous employer. I shared my sentiments with attorney Gavidia. We discussed a variety of options and chose a strategy to pursue a separation agreement that would prove amicable to all parties. After several rounds of tactful negotiation, attorney Gavidia provided me with a proposal that met my needs. I would strongly recommend Dell and Schaefer and particularly attorney Gavidia and his supporting staff for those in need of expert representation in the field of disability law and claims. I would personally choose them again if the need arose.

From day one, my dealings with both Jay Symonds and Sonia Nogueira were extremely professional. This claim was very important to me and I always felt that it was as important to your firm. Every question or concern was answered quickly. Most importantly, my claim was approved and I'm sure working with Jay and Sonia helped make that happen.

I contacted Dell & Schaefer after a thorough search for the best disability insurance attorney. There are so many out there and it's tough to know which ones will actually be there to help you. What really sealed the deal for me as I was doing this research was the fact that Dell & Schaefer shared a lot of important information freely online via Video and it was the final piece that made me pick up the phone and call them. I was directed to Alex and he gladly spent time with me (free of charge of course) to discuss my case and to give me advice. I didn't sign up with Dell & Schaefer right away and over the period of months I called and talked to Alex on several occassions. In my case, we weren't looking for a settlement, I was really being harassed by A***A with constant Physician Forms (monthly), hoping my doctor would get tired of filling them out and change or make a mistake on the forms so that they could cut me off from my benefits, which they did on several occassions. My doctors stuck with me though and despite having clear cut medical reasons for my disability, the harrasment went on for years. The stress and anxiety of just dealing with them took it's toll on me physically and I knew I couldn't keep going through this. Luckily, Dell and Schaefer can also handle all corrrespondance with the insurance company you happen to be dealing with and I knew if I didn't have to deal with this portion, it would take a huge weight off my shoulders so that's what I did. The moment that A***A had to start dealing with my attorney Alex, forms were only issued every 6 to 12 months, and more importantly, the pressure of making sure that only the appropriate information was being answered was all taken care of by Alex and his team. I can't tell you how much this meant to not only me, but to my wife who had to sit idly by watching how this stress of all this and my injury was draining me of life. At one point, A***A stopped sending my payments and of course Alex and his team got right on it and sent letters to them to rectify the issue, and in short order the issues was corrected and the check was in the mail. After about a year or so, I receive a call from Alex on my birthday and he proceeds to tell me that A***A wants to settle my claim. I was shocked because as I stated in the beginning, we weren't trying to get a settlement out of A***A, I was just looking for relief from the constant harrasment of phone calls and physicians statements 1 to 2 times a month. Needless to say, this changed our entire life and if it weren't for Dell & Schaefer and Alex's team, this would have never happened the way that it did. Not only is Alex and his team, complete professionals in everything they do, they really do care about their clients and go above and beyond to help you in any way that they can. We can't thank them enough for their help and for being there when no one else seemed to care or knew how to help us. We will be forever grateful for everything you guys have done to help us through this most difficult time of our lives.
