We put off doing the above planning because we didn't want to hire just any lawyer. If you are like me, the idea of talking to a lawyer is not what you want to do after a 9-10 hr work day. At the same time my wife and I knew that this was something we really needed to get done. So i consigned myself to the idea of sitting in front of a boring lawyer who is going to droll on in legal speak about whatever service he is overcharging me for. Let me stop. This is not Lance Ragland. Lance breaks all the stereotypes I ever had of lawyers. He doesn't wear a suit or a tie. He talk over you. He stayed late to accommodate our schedule multiple times. He even spoke about his family and friends to help us get acquainted. During our time with him, which was always after 5 pm because we both work full time, he voluntarily explained all documents in easy to understand language and encouraged us to ask questions if we were confused about any step of the process. His office staff is professional, friendly and helpful. He did "Sell" us an upgrade on our free Will service that my wife won at a raffle, but it wasn't high pressure and it made sense to us to upgrade. He never once pressured us to upgrade from the free service we could have just taken with no money out of pocket. Overall Lance changed my opinion of lawyers and their roll in the community. It was a great experience from beginning to end.
