if I had to sum it up in one word it would be horrible. I met with her one time during the entire course of my case. the meeting lasted approximately 20 to 25 minutes. she miss inform me about dates which I had to be in court. she told me I did not have to be in court on a certain date. Well it just so happens I was in court on unrelated issue, I took a seat no more than 3 rows away from her and watched her call my house repeatedly trying to inform me that I need to come on up to court. The court room contained less than 15 people that day and she didn't even recognize who I was. informed miss Lori Williams Smith that I did not want to accept the plea out that day and I still had a few things I wanted to discuss with her about my case, after all we have only spent approximately 25 minutes together. she didn't inform me that if I did not accept a plea then I would be starting jury trials the following Monday, which was only 3 days away. when I ask Mr Lorry William Smith if she could get a continuance so we can have more time to work on my case she stated, "no". keep keep in mind that we only spent 25 minutes total discussing my case thus far. then she proceeded to do a horrible job of explaining to me what my sentence consisted of. I believe this was just to make me hurry up and accept the plea offer. I asked her if any of my three other co defendants were still going to be charged with the crime, because I was innocent but they were blaming me, she told me they would not tell her anything about that. there was absolutely no physical evidence linking me to the crime I wasn't at the scene at the time. the prosecution lift key evidence out of the discovery, she stated that she was sure get that information from them. but when asked if she had gotten the fingerprint results yet, she stated no, didn't matter one way or another.
