I wish I had listed and followed my instincts after reading Leah Burke’s review below as most people typically do not leave a review unless they have a legitimate complaint. I walked away after an initial fee which he would not refund even though he did no work. Fast talker, makes you feel comfortable and at ease then he rips you off. I think there’s only one attorney and one paralegal. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

I highly recommend Coleman Legal. Mr. Coleman helped guide me through a difficult time and with his help things went much better than I thought. He was supportive and answered all my questions. Mr. Coleman was recommended by my best friend and another person from church who hired him two years ago. I spoke to a few other attorneys but came back to Mr. Coleman’s office because it was obvious he was the most caring and knowledgeable attorney. He gave me the best advice and was fair in his rates. The advice I received paid off in dividends and kept me from making mistakes early in my case. Mr. Coleman made all the difference and for the better in my case.

Danny Coleman and his staff were very helpful and trustworthy during a very difficult time for me. With Danny Coleman’s assistance I was able to save thousands of dollars that my spouse was claiming in a divorce case that was undeserved. Danny was cautious and gave me a great assessment of what to expect and the best and worst case scenarios. I am happy that I got the best result without even having to go to court. I offer my highest recommendation.

I would definitely not recommend this office to anyone. I have no idea what they do all day, but I will tell you what they don’t do: they don’t answer the phone most of the time, they return maybe 10% of your calls even when you leave a message on the voicemail or with the receptionist, they rarely return emails even if you just had one simple question, and if you ever set up a call with your lawyer they will have someone in the office conference you two together so that you don’t have your lawyer’s phone number. I find that weird because every lawyer I have ever done business with has given their office and cell phone number and made themselves very available. These clowns won’t do that and that was a red flag for me. For some reason we needed two attorneys working on our case even though we originally just met with one- apparently Tamara was too busy to handle our very simple child custody and visitation case, so we ended up meeting with another lawyer, Jamie, most of the time. The best part of this was that whenever I talked to Jamie, I got billed for her time and Tamara’s time because she would need to consult with Tamara. So if they had a 20 minute conversation about my case, I got billed by Tamara for 20 minutes and by Jamie for 20 minutes for the same damn conversation. If I emailed or called Jamie (which, after several months, became common because Tamara was off doing whatever) I was billed for her to talk to Tamara about my call or email and then for her to respond to me. Why the hell I couldn’t just deal with just one lawyer I don’t know. Likely because they wouldn’t have made as much money. I asked the other party to reimburse me for my legal fees, which they included in our final draft of an agreement and stated that he had 30 days to do this. His attorney responded that his client didn’t have the money. Jamie forwarded this message to me, and I did not respond because it didn’t matter- I asked to be reimbursed and that was part of the agreement we typed up. Well apparently the other party’s lawyer never agreed to this reimbursement of legal fees and told him that he didn’t have to reimburse me. This was NEVER relayed to me. The sad part is that after forking our over $6,000 for these idiots to do a minuscule amount of work, I found out my department was closing at work. That combined with Christmas made money pretty tight. I was counting on the other party to pay me back so that I could pay them their last $500 payment, but he never did because his lawyer didn’t agree to that and told his client not to. Which again was never relayed to me. They ended up dropping me because of this. I called them several times to see if there was anything I could do. No one would answer the phone and the voicemail kept saying it was full. I emailed Danny Coleman, the ringleader of this circus, twice in one week and he never replied. Finally after calling about 10 times over the span of this week, he answered the phone and said that they were moving offices and their phone and email were down. Does he not have his business email synced to his cell phone? What kind of attorney doesn’t? Are they even real lawyers? Probably not. Irritating, but good riddance. I just hired another attorney who actually answers their phone and am hoping to have my case wrapped up after two years wasted with these guys. DO NOT hire them. There are many other firms with better ratings and better service.

I very much appreciate the work they did on my bankruptcy case. It was very obvious I was working with attorneys that had done hundreds of cases before. Always available for my phone calls. I recommend Danny Coleman for your bankruptcy case.

Tamara Feliciano wouldn't know her way out of a paper bag when it comes to Domestic Relation/Divorce issues. Does zero work, works on pro bono animal cases while on your time. Then forgets to send you your invoice monthly ( no matter how much you ask for it), and then you get a wonderful inflated bill.. and the number keeps changing. First you owe X, then you owe Y, then X again then Z. I have no idea what is going on over there but none of them should be practicing anything, I think they only know how to bill you for work they don't do.

When Mr. Coleman was signing me up for my Chapter 7, in 2015, he was nice and helpful. Once I signed up, within a blink of an eye,he could care less about my case. For Example, Mr. Coleman forgot that I had court and I had to call and remind him. Then after my Chapter 7, was final..,,, if I had any questions about my case or my rights, Mr Coleman was short Curt and borderline rude and he did not try to hide it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH COLEMAN!!!!!

I hired the Coleman Legal Group to represent me in a bankruptcy case. As part of the court filing, I indicated that I would like to file a letter of reaffirmation with the court for my mortgage loan. The bank sent the document to them both by fax and mail. They did not file it and as a result, I do not have this loan on my credit report and am having a hard time establishing credit and have to pay an extremely high interest rate on any loans that I need. It is my belief that the Coleman Legal group was negligent in performing the contracted legal obligations and the ordinary care of a reasonably competent attorney acting in the same or similar circumstances. They informed my that I would need to hire another attorney to correct the situation.

D.Coleman did a great job on my divorce case. The staff and other lawyers also did a great job. The location is convenient. Will tell friends to call them if going through a divorce.
